Respecting the opinions of everyone, I believe that "mediocrity", "theft", are both words that have nothing to do with this edition.
There would be more education and respect for work, especially for the artists who collaborate with us. If you don't like this product you can give advices but critical that make sense or that help to improve the quality.
We are not forcing the collectors to buy, we just propose our work that we can assure you requires a lot of effort.

I didn't say it's mediocre; I said it's mediocre at best, which means it's barely even mediocre. The Mickey Mouse reference on the back art is clever, I'll give you (or him, the artist) that, but just as hereticz said, I was referring to the entire package.

Why do I care? Because I love and need this film in my collection, so I'm going through all the editions offered on the market, trying to find the one which I prefer.

Why don't I like it? Because there are THREE different fonts in total for the title alone, because the spine looks precisely as the ones I was making for my VHS tapes when I was in junior high, and because you went with fifty shades of moss to hold everything together. Saying it took a lot of effort is believable, but only if you have very limited experience. I can guarantee that there are members around here who sometimes come up with infinitely better concepts in five-minute timeframes.

We're deinitely agree about some limits of this release, we are working hard to make the production and shipping system efficient. Many extra costs also depend on shipping management problems.
We want to make the packaging perfect by including exclusive Artworks made by great artists. It's a big challenge and at the moment we are very satisfied with the results, but there is still a lot to work on!

Your suggestions and critiques are always very useful and will help us when we propose the new line of exclusive steelbooks next year!

Reaching out to collectors with frequent image and information updates as well as a readiness to answer (potential) customer queries in these CM threads it's not difficult to see that this company is intent on designing the best packages possible for the pricepoint and the fact that the designs are mostly spot-on should come as no surprise what with Italy being famous the world over for its design heritage.

Probably most pleasing is the particular attention to detail in the layout of the spines w/ the matching sized/positioned logos which should satisfy all including the most OCD collectors . . .

. . . and as for the WWA steelbooks included inside these CM slipcases: that's surely not in CM's power to do anything about . . . yes, it's true I guess that they could refuse the steelbooks (if they don't like the designs) but that would be counter productive and suicidal behaviour for any company trying to break into this the nichest of niche areas of steelbook collecting.
Anyway, what with taste being subjective an' all, it still shouldn't be hard to find several hundred collectors worldwide to buy these releases even w/ the recent less than pleasing WWA steels (x3) inside . . . it also shouldn't be too difficult to replace the current WWA steelbooks with examples more special from the past ten years of steelbook releases (if available, natch) . . .
. . . two examples immediately come to mind when considering two of these three slipcases:-

WOW.... We got some ethic specialists here... This is just rude! @mmz41, maybe you can explain us in detail what the costs should be to produce premiums so we can hit those greedy retailers with sticks produced by you. I understand from your posts that you are the specialist so please help us ;)
It's not a premium steelbook, those are crappy steelbook.I have them in hand (Shining and Clockwork Orange also)
I'm mad about the treatment to the greatest director.

This is the steelbook section.I don't care about fancy stuff to cover it :)

A little bit of FMJ trivia. The building used in the sniper sequence (Old Tate & Lyle sugar refinery in Silvertown, east London) was also used by David Bowie and Mick Jagger for their Dancing in The Street music video and also by Oasis for their music video (Liam broke his leg jumping from a helicopter). I used to have one of the fake palm trees from the movie but lost it when I moved to Thailand ;(
