General Poster Discussion & last purchased

@blumaster We’ll see how lucky I am, I am being sent to Austin for a business conference that starts Sunday. When I bought my Saturday flight the studio had not even announced if they would be open, it was just blind luck that that day is the last day of the Mondo Ghana exhibit, so my flight doesn’t even get me in until 2ish and when I called they had originally said there were no posters on sale at all. So I was not even expecting anything.
Now they announced the flat sale so things seem to have converged on it looking like a better decision to have booked that Saturday flight, but I still expect them to be sold out by the time I get there, and if not then it is just a bonus to me.
That said this is the photo in the tweet they sent, you think it will just be these 5 posters or you think there will be more. I think I have 4 of the 5 posters identified. Can’t figure out 1, any help…

Get there very early, probably the night before if you're gunning for one of the big ones they sneaked peaked. Moss and Horkey bring out the worst in people haha.
Once through you can get back in line again.

I think you misunderstand the sale.
The ones in the picture are a few they teased. No one knows what's going to be in the flat file. I imagine it's a good 50-80 posters? Chris could chime in better with a guesstimate there. They tend to be returns and scratch n dents, printer proofs etc.

no gremlins 2 variants but got some stuff, there was even a jock year one var when i got there but i had one so decided on something else for my first pass and it was gone by the second round...
@mllNY Was Mondo everything you hoped it would be? haha, really happy to hear you were able to get some posters. Super jealous.
Jock didn't have any posters with him at C2E2, but I did pick up these letterpress prints for only $30...

@blumaster the gallery was a bit smaller than I expected but it was cool. There was a Year One Jock Variant left when I finally got to the front but already having it I passed and actually bought for some other people on my first pass since there was nothing there that I absolutely had to have. I did get two posters for myself (Big Eyes and Gamora) but I could have had those when they were on sale and got them more as a 'souvenir' of my visit.

looks like Michael's will be running their 60% + 20% sale this weekend they only do this twice a year (now and around black friday) so if you want something big or expensive framed now is the time to do it!
the deal is good only sunday and monday so get those order in, though I know people who sign up to their newsletter and got the deal for friday and saturday too!

so I took advantage of the 60% + 20% this weekend and got two of my art pieces framed but did not get around to the Year One Jock cause I was not 100% satisfied with what I was seeing.
hopefully i'll get the year one sometime this year. the problem is the frame want a black frame with red lines and ideally i would like a matting that has etching in it or some cool effect and I can't find it here

@Wreck Huge Mondo news and may be deserving of its own thread: Justin Ishmael has left Mondo. He played a major role in getting many of the great releases from Mondo including Mondo X Steelbooks.

could it be the toy and vinyl expansion. like he wanted to focus on just the posters. who knows, don't want to spread anything
