Hello fellow ninjas, as next week Easter is coming ,i decided to give a suprise Easter giveaway

The rules are very simple. Just thank the thread and simple answer this questions

1. If in the future they replace Robert Downey jr as Iron Man, which actor would you like to take his place?

2. The "Rock" Dwayne Johnson is rumoured to play a DC character. Which character would you like him to play ?


I will pick the winner this Sunday (april 13) by draw and i will send the suprise giveaway (free of charge) on Monday.

1. It would be hard if not impossible to replace RDJ but I'd like to see either Michael Fassbender or Leonardo DiCaprio take a stab at it. I'll go for Leo as Fassbender is already another character in the Marvel-universe.

2. Firstly I hope those rumours are untrue but if they are I'd like to see The Rock as Gorilla Grodd although I don't see him pulling off the brainy part of the character too well.

1. I don't think Robert Downey Jr., or anyone else for that matter, should be replaced. However, I could see Jon Hamm or Matt Bomer (depending on what they're going for) taking his spot.

2. I think Dwayne Johnson should play John Stewart/Green Lantern.

1) Cant replace RDJ. Just wouldnt work. If they had to, probably Christian Bale / Ryan Gosling / Johnny Depp / Brad Pitt. Wouldnt be the same though.

They could have Don Knotts play IM for all I care, as long as they get rid of RDJ. Sorry the guy can't act since he became sober. IMO. But in real life it should be Karl Urban

Everyone is entitled to their opinion obviously. But I think his list of films since becoming sober speaks for itself.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Good Night, And Good Luck, A Scanner Darkly, Zodiac, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Tropic Thunder, The Soloist, Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes 2 and The Avengers.
That's not the list of someone that can't act. Imo of course.

Brad Pitt - the rich guy look is his forte and would play a good iron man.

Dwayne Johnson should play Mr Freeze.. He seems like a good for the role like Arnie was!

Once again, everyone is entitled to their opinion but I would argue that Brad Pitt's best roles is when he isn't the rich guy.
Fight Club, Inglorious Basterds, Snatch, Se7en, True Romance, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Burn After Rreading are imo his best performances and in none of them he plays a rich guy or really has that look or attitude.
Granted he has played some roles like that with success but imo those roles aren't his forte.
Just my opinion though.
