I wonder how this can happen, surely a first of sample approval should be done. I work as an engineer and it is common practice to get a first off approval, before the batch is allowed to be run. If this is not being done, then maybe it would be a good idea for the manufacturer to do this. It would save a lot of hassle and cost to all involved.

Ok so the studio is strict when it comes to the name credits and this is a copyright problem, :ohno: maybe payment should only be made when it's confirmed the release is good to go.
Scanavo are on quite a roll with the constant screw-ups of Asian steelbooks, they are really an incompetent bunch, :meh: they keep this up they can create a big steelbook tower. :wacky:

Do we know if this was a Scanovo screw up? Haven't read the full thread so don't know the specifics of what went wrong here.

It doesn't really say whose fault it is in the post. Just that Scanovo is going to be remaking the Steelbooks. Maybe I read the wrong post.

The OP shows Ridley Scott on the design for the steelbook, that's the way HDzeta would have submitted the order, HDzeta spotted the missing Ridley Scott credit on the front, has to be Scanavo at fault, their on a roll at Scanavo.

To quote Robocop

Dick, I'm very disappointed.
I'm sure it's only a glitch. A temporary setback.
You call this a GLITCH?

I admit to being 'irked' that I paid for this 4 weeks ago and I probably won't see it until february at least.

Damn, does no one in this thread buy blufans? :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but hdzeta and blufans copies need to be sourced, meaning money up front well before release. Stuff happens, errors in printing (wall-e, this). We'll get our steels.

I so want HDzeta to release HTTYD 2 as an exclusive steel, they did such a wonderful job with the first one, they have to pick up the 2nd release and do the makeover treatment for a steel that it deserves to sit nicely with the first one HTTYD HDzeta exclusive No.2

At least with this one we know that the finish is good, just need the credits sorted. The problem with Wall-E and Thor is that there is still uncertainty about the finish. Scanavo DK seem to be willing to fix things asap. Scanavo CN on the other hand are playing silly buggers. I truly believe that BluFans need to source all future Steelbooks from Denmark. China just ain't cutting it.

Is there anyway for me to get a lenticular copy of this? Really wanted but missed out on the GB! :(
Please help! I'll appreciated!

It was being done in Europe. Way back in 2010 I received a large black box from Scanavo as a gift and it contained empty sample Steelbooks (Iron Man FS, UP BB, Transformers ROTF FS among others). Why it didn't happen here or indeed with the BF releases is beyond me.
