Checked my local store when I got off work and they were sold out already, but there is another store 15 minutes away that almost always has plenty of stock.

Both of the local Best Buys in my area were out. Got a friend to pick me one up in Florida, and he got the last 2 on the shelf!

I get home from work today and open up the movie my wife picked up for me and watch the first 30 minutes. It's nice to be able to get a steelbook at a US retailer but the fact its G1 bothers me.
I was able to use a Reward Zone coupon so that helped.
This is my first G1 steel and it sticks out like a sore thumb with all my other Blu's.

I had some ebay bucks. If I didn't, it would have been right at retail ($23.00). Figured for $20.00, I couldn't go wrong.

$19? Are you sure it was a Steelbook? This was $22.99 at the store on release day.

I'd be a little wary of buying a Steelbook on eBay for less than it even sold in the stores. Did this seller have a good feedback rating? Good luck. I hope it ends actually being a Steelbook, and that it arrives undamaged.
