there is no decision on this at all , who said only other countries are being serviced? That is why there is nothing to read , because no one has made any such decision. If NOVA has said no to any one on the Staff then there must be a reason for this?!? Maybe even just a small miscommunication which does happen all the time.
This is just getting ridiculous if you ask me .
I guess it would have been ok the other way around ? USA GB on and MY GB off right? It was HDNs wish that I only open a GB for ROW , I abided by what they wanted , the members who joined surely cant be held accountable for anything that happends behind the scene?
It does not matter who will do a GB or not , you can NEVER satisfy everyone.
Like I have already posted in a different GB of mine, members here are the worse to deal with when it comes to GBs ... there is nowhere else where I offer GBs such nagging and even cut throating conversations about a steelbook as it is here .
Why cant everyone just learn to be happy for the next one ?
By hosting a GB on HDN EVERYONE profits from it , HDN gets the fees from the GB members, the GB members get there steelbook , so I REALLY don't know what all the flack is about , again be happy for your fellow Ninja Member.
IF this continues I will NOT be holding anymore GBs here on HDN
I really wish some members would stop harassing the mods/GB hosts on this - they're doing the best they can but at the end of the day it's Nova's decision. Asking questions is fine but there's been a definite passive aggressive or even outright hostile tone to recent posts. I hope it's not intended and just the difficulty of communicating intent through text sometimes. It's really starting to bum me out and I'm not even the one doing any of the work.
And, to be clear - I'm from the US, was one of the first on the closed GB, and haven't bothered to sign up for Masterblaster's due to the low chances of getting a copy at this point. In no way do I blame HDN for that.

If it's the actual gb planer stating these things about fellow members of this forum, I totally side with the gb planner. The GB planner does all this work and people don't appreciate it. Masterblaster don't let some bad apples ruin the cart.
for the record i would like to say that i really appreciate hdn, the mods here, and all the gb hosts. i have always appreciated the gracious efforts of johns gb and all other hosts. i am not a noob here and have been contributing to hdn in a positive way for a while now.
I can't speak for anyone but myself but I for one feel it is extremely out of line and unwarranted to label my questions as being disrespectful or hounding or nagging or filled with some kind of false sense of entitlement. I am genuinely confused as to what happened to the USA group buy and why the ROW GB is still on while the US GB is cancelled. but after asking several times in what I thought was a simply innocent manner, I have received anything but a clear answer.
that being said i feel i must make myself abundantly clear now.
Here is what I know:
There were 2 Group Buys opened for this: 1 for USA. 1 for ROW.
USA has apparently been cancelled. ROW is apparently still happening.
I don't have anything against anyone. I don't blame hdn or the mods of the gb planners for anything.
I don't know the details, and therefore, cannot and will not come to a conclusion.
I didn't mention anything about the ROW GB and had no idea on earth my comments would be offensive to John.
I was simply inquiring about what happened to USA because I am CONFUSED.
Is there anyone out there that can answer the question? Anyone from Nova? Anyone from HDN?
If the answer is that apsmith is choosing not to do it, then fine. I would have zero problem with that.
apsmith is a class act imo and I would only immediately think of my long term appreciation for the efforts I've seen over the years here.
whenever someone is able to provide some clarity, I think several members here would appreciate it. If I have somehow missed the post the clarified this, and the information has been there all along, then all I was really asking for is direction toward that post.
but if you jump down my throat out of some misguided assumption that I am part of some self entitled whiney group of ungrateful people that would somehow nonsensically be upset with other members in the ROW GB just because the USA got cancelled... well... then you don't know me that's for sure.
