I'm getting bored of this hobby with the continuous need to send things back and then having to cross your fingers the replacement isn't the same. I thought statues and collectibles were bad , this is a joke.

Mine came from amazon totally wrecked and this is the best bit. It came in just a see through plastic wrapper, not even in a box Needless to say it went back and new one on it's way. You couldn't make it up. Seriously who the hell would send a steelbook in a see through plastic wrapper and no protection whatsoever.

I am in the US and mine arrived today (in perfect condition). It was despatched by Zavvi on Thursday and arrived in 6 total days! That is a record, for me, for ordering from the UK. I was very surprised to see it show up today.

Unfortunately the disc is locked to region B.

No regions specified on the back cover nor on the disc, but I just tested the disc with a region-switchable Blu-ray player: A & C just give you "Mismatch between disc and player region codes".

Dam that is a deal breaker. I normally double dip because I generally have all the older releases on bluray. But I didnt pick this one up so thats too bad.

Its not that I'm getting bored with steelbooks, it's the somewhat blinding that other collectors are having to other versions.
I got the Target Oblivion as I thought it was a nice change. With Pacific Rim I will not get a steelbook, I'm in the US now and will try to get the store exclusive slips.
