so it is here...have to pay £19.08 customs

Oh no! Sorry to hear that mate. Think I'd rather wait an extra week or two than have to pay customs. I filled everything out the same way I usually do, so hopefully those crafty customs people won't have caught me.

My instructions to mark as merchandize $19.99 on packaging and on invoice was not done as I requested
It was marked as $25 on customs slip on packaging that was fine to avoid customs for Ireland
But they did not put an invoice inside so I was lucky customs did not open the box as no invoice would have been a problem

This is the first time they did not do exactly as I requested as all other orders the deliveries were done as I requested

I've been slammed by Customs with Kimchi more than any other retailer and I'm worried it's going to happen again with this release. Might well be my last order through them directly if I am hit with another as I've also found in the past they did not adhere to the instructions I gave them.

I was 15 minutes late leaving for work this morning... I'm glad I was because the postman showed up just before I left with my full slip. Looks amazing. I look forward to getting home so I can open it up and watch it for the first time!

Same here mate... they didn't mark mine as requested either - label on front was marked as $25 (I wrote $20 when ordering) and there was also no invoice inside. First time that's happened to me too, and hopefully the last! We were definitely lucky that customs didn't open them... I just hope everyone else was as lucky.

This really should be addressed by the Kimchi crew all the same... yes its a bit of extra work and not exactly above board - could they be afraid of a penalty with mass false declarations? Still I feel they should be marking at the price we ask for when its an actual option on their site.

Now that I'm off my highhorse: Her is my fave flick of the year and I'm thrilled with the beautiful steel. My only complaint is I wish the steel was just a touch lighter and more pinky but alas they have stuck with the poster colour. Overall an excellent package. If I wasn't a nitpicker I would have probably went for the fullslip as it looks lovely... or went with a lenti image of Perfect Mom grinding against the fridge

I just recieved my first kimchi through the door. I got number 734 on the lenticular.
Just noticed that on the invoice stuck on the box it says merchandise $25 but I put $19.99 when ordering it and I didn't get any other charges so I must of been lucky.

Edit: I've had this page open for a while and hadn't refreshed it and just noticed loads saying the same thing about marking the merch with the amount we put. Didn't realise this happens a lot

My fullslip also marked at $25 rather than the $15 I had asked for. Still looks great though and no customs either!

My copy (541) arrived today and, as expected, another stunning lenticular from Kimchi . The effect is mesmerising with lots of movement at the slightest touch. Sorry about the poor quality photos but hopefully they may give a hint of how lovely this steel is.
