no one left a comment yet......heh,who knew there would be cinder block behind the dry wall in your new place,i guess when you bought the place,there was nothing said to you about it then..surprise,surprise.

kind of sucks about the hdmi you were planning to snake on inside of the drywall for a extra clean look,but by looking at the photo's,it's too much a tight fit...bummer

starting to make me paranoid about my wires down on the bottom of my tv stand,man is it ever a mess,too many things hooked up to the power outlets near impossible to clean up.

Yeah the HDMI wire would have been the big kicker but to be honest the actual connector is squeezed against the wall pretty tight just to be at the angle I want, so even if I ran it behind the tv I'd still be in a tight spot when it came to plugging it into the TV. Fortunately, the lone HDMI wire is conveniently covered up by the glass moon candle thingy.

I was also worried about the height when I go to upgrade the center channel.. I didn't necessarily want to be staring at the ceiling but I wanted enough space on the mantel to put a new center channel when I go to upgrade 30 years from now when I won't have a mortgage payment.

In the future I plan to get rid of the top half of the desk to allow positioning of a 3DHD LCD and a klipsch centre speaker

Have had this setup for a year now Gonna move this month so will update after move. New place has hardwood floors though.

finally gettin my cinema room started now my bro moved out and have a spare room paint done, furniture in, need to try out t projector so can put a border on the wall around t picture. should be finished this month with new carpet, posters and frames, shelves for movie mem and surround sound. a month could be ambitious as america took all my money, expensive holiday but amazing none t less home theatre pics soon

Do you ever worry about your linksys frying with the modem sitting on top? My linksys gets really hot in tight spaces.

The modem is somewhere behind the stand now, 2 year old boy doesnt like an organized stand!! lol

These are just pics of the Man Cave, I have some nice setups in other rooms including the main room. But the Man Cave is what matters! No Wife's Allowed ... unless they're puttin' out!

Here's the new couch I recently bought, with double recliners. I plan to put an Iron Man blockbuster art pic up in place of the Astros jersey eventually. Until then, it hangs.

I have an awesome decanter full of crown I thought about putting in the pic, but its on the bar in the other room ... and I didnt feel like setting up my room for a pic as opposed to just cleaning it up. When I have the media rack organized I'll take a pic of that ... the entire closet is full of movies.
