Just noticed this DB. If thats the case, I think these releases will be available in all the stores just as Gangs & No Country. It also opens the possibility of fresh new artwort and G2 cases. This could be exciting.

Not trying to rain on anyone or anything, but the release date for these is still five and a half weeks away so I doubt the amazon employee actually physically checked the steelbooks as I doubt very much they even have them in the warehouse.

For me, and maybe it is a bit of denial, I will only believe the I Am Legend re-release is G2 size when I am physically holding it in my hands on the morning of Nov 23rd.

The re-release of a G2 IAL makes complete sense as there are tons of people out there who are going to jump on this release, and unless they printed like 100 000 copies, it will sell out very quickly. However, the rest of this run makes absolutely no sense as re-releases and I would not want to be the Warner employee who looked at all the leftover G1 (DVD) steelbooks of these movies and said "Hey, I think we need to make more of these, but just smaller" ..... just makes no sense, G1 or G2 sized.

I have been wrong before with my logic, and I will probably be wrong again, but when you put the Worldwide Warner pieces together, G1 BD Steelbooks only in France and couple that with a bunch of extra DVD steelbooks that are still sitting in warehouses ...........

I'll be doing exactly the same thing. I think they will be G2. But I wish they could have used original art instead of using the same art as the FS exclusive DVD versions. And if you are in Canada, I'm betting you will be able to buy them anywhere. I haven't gone in any store yet that didn't have a couple or more copies of No Country or Gangs steels including Walmart and Zellers.
