I know we're talking about Independence Day here, but when it comes to sci-fi & aliens I would have rather seen an FAC release of the classics, Alien or Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I'm just saying.

Event Horizon would be a must for me! One film that Paul Anderson actually done well!
Imagine a FAC of it!

Completely agree . SteelbookGenius666 if I had each and every FAC then other movies steels ect I do adore I would never have .

I feel the whole 1 , 2 box thing is getting a lot like milking for all it is worth . Every single relise . Still waiting with bated breath for a much wanted and needed Dredd .

I've bought lot's of edition's which have been brilliant edition's of so-so film's, I'm all in for FA to give back catalogue title's their treatment, but I'll be picking and choosing very carefully, and those I don't pick up, I'll simply enjoy all the photo's that other Ninja's put on here.

Watched this recently and it's nowhere near as good as I'd remembered.

The first hour is just all talk and very boring and that annoying guy with the squeaky voice who keeps saying 'David, David' every two secs made me want to turn it off.

On that note, this is one FAC I'll be passing on as I already have the Play.com steelbook and that's more than enough expenditure for this film......

I have to rewatch it again but I fear it won't be as great as I remember it to be. I do pass on some FAC sometimes as if not I would just be beyond Broke. I need to do so for budget reason so I am not that Upset when they do a release that I feel I can pass up. I guess I'll see how I feel after I watch the movie. But it makes me appreciate even more my other FAC releases that I have. For those who are still waiting for some FAC, I am sure there is a valid reason if they do so as FA love to get the ball rolling, we waited Long For LOOPER and it turned out one of their best release of all.

Roland Emmerich's best for me The Patriot one of Mels best performances too.

I always no matter what with ID4 end up screaming and I mean screaming for Boomer to MOVE IT in that tunnel .

Think its the whole tie up with Independence Day thing that it is so O.O.T U.S.A takes on the Aliens and the rest will follow . Good fun movie those Special Effects for the time groundbreaking .

Going to be nice to watch Blu Ray and no adverts normally end up watching it when its free to air .

Hope FA do one edition only and make it the best out thire .

I've lived in the UK all my life and I've NEVER heard anyone talk like they portrayed the stiff upper lip British. When they showed the Chinese they may as well have had them saying 'Ching chong ching chong'! I just found it extremely condescending. And I was a teenager at the time! And then they let us share their holiday!

I thought the film was fun but had serious flaws!

I guess Roland Emmerich's idea of the British Military is based soley on Graham Chapman & John Cleese portrayals in Monty Python sketches!

I just love this film as a guilty pleasure popcorn movie. And as a bonus it features my favorite Hollywood whack job, Randy Quaid. Must have this edition.

Then, surely, Emmerich will be the director of the next great British Comedy!
