I would buy it to complete the collection but I'd never watch it. From the sound of it, it's much worse than Godfather 3, which I turned off less than halfway through.

I'd probably prefer that it not get released, just so I'm not missing anything. The FS version seems to have taken a price slide and has come in line with newer hard-to-get titles.

That's a shame, I found Godfather III really picks up towards the end, the ending being quite memorable.

I do enjoy the indy movies but I'm not a huge fan and after I heard about the fourth movie being crap iv'e never been that bothered to watch it, I have it on dvd with the rest of them though so will have to give it a watch sometime.

pre-booked the first 3-will give this a miss-Lucas! What were you thinking!!??

did anyone notice that the plot to this was along the same lines as the first ever tomb raider game?!?

I saw this again last Christmas.

As a stand alone movie it's really not as bad as people are making out.
OK, going by what went before in the other movies in the series it's nowhere near as good. But it's not a bad popcorn flick. And it's INDY for crying out loud!!

Everybody's bad mouthing it, but you can be sure they'll still be lining up to buy the Steelbook of it when it's released!

I still don't know why ppl are complaining about the 4th movie.. omg he survived an abomb in a fridge? wtf aliens? wormholes? strange whatever? cmon guys - part1: the ark? seriously? nazis in the desert?! yep seems pretty right... so part2: strange cult, living dead, voodoo - yep this is also ok and finally part3: nazis again, hitler himself, his father the uber-archaeologist, the holy grail? also here nothing what matters, but when we now make a new movie and put some aliens in it it's crap? sry guys - that how Indiana Jones work (for me) :)

only bad thing: was released way too late - Mr. Ford is pretty old, they had enough time to make like 10 new movies in the whole time :(

It's not the plot that makes it bad, but the trully horrible acting and infantile dialogues all around. I don't consider this a part of the set any more than I consider Bourne Legacy a part of the Bourne set. Not worth spending my hard earned pennies on.

This is the only Indy movie I would buy personally on steel or amaray. Got zero interest in watching most movies older than me (rare few, but very few).

But then I also liked Bourne Legacy so I must be crazy, lol.

I'm usually the same mate, although I have recently started giving a few of the old classics a chance and have been surprised by how much I've enjoyed some of them. Unfortunately, Indy doesn't fall under that category... I got as far as the second one and thought they were both pretty dreadful films, so obviously I'll be passing on these steels.

As for Bourne Legacy, I liked it too! :D

I liked The Bourne Legacy too, much better than I was expecting.

On topic, hurry up and make this available Zavvi!

I thought the film was ok not as bad as made out imo but I def want this steel to complete the set although all 4 will stay sealed as I have the quad steel opened to watch the movies.

It must be that twin thing, lol!

Yeah me too, been trying my best to watch the old classics as well. Some I can get through, some I fall asleep trying and some I end up loving actually. Like the Alien movies... I finally watched the first two which I think are almost a decade older than I am and I actually thought were pretty good. The Indy movies I tried three times, lol, no go and gave up.

 Where do you get off on calling a memeber who has over 3,500 posts been thanked nearly 4,000 times to be called PATHETIC by a newbie with only 41 posts...GO AWAY IF YOU CANT BE CONSTUCTIVE.:(

Yes, the new member should have been more constructive regarding his criticism. Though, the same could be said for you.

 I HATE IT when other members (whether new or old) are bashed because they have seniority. I thought here at HDN we are better than that. I recently joined the Blu-ray forum and got ignored/criticized because I was new, even though I made a valid point.
Thank goodness we have reasonable mods and members here. HDN is my home for anything Blu-ray or Steelbook. We should be more tolerant towards new members, as apsmith (or Wreck) said, "We're are not like other forums where we poke fun at each other".
