to be fair blade runner & it werent their fault tbh... but this one in particular definitely felt a little rushed (cash grab *cough*)
I hope we’re not seeing a trend where all the series is being released again just for 4K I would be very irritated

Have you ever thought were the 500 steelbooks for this release did come from, all of a sudden? Couldn't it be this steelbook will see the light of the day in other territories in the near future (e.g.: their Gladiator steelbook in Italy)? That would also explain why they (sort of
) put it in their Silver Label line-up.
I can hardly believe they found 500 copies of this steelbook in their warehouse... or do the Chinese (Scanavo) factories also do 500 print runs?
And the obligatory of course: If somebody wants to offload a copy, please send me a PM.
(I have a complete Blade Runner 2049 DL for trade as well.)

Though that would mean the first print run they did for the non-4k version was not what they said it was... or it was, but they didn't really sell out, somehow somebody missed a pallet of 500 copies and they "recently" found it tucked away gathering dust in some warehouse.
After I ran out of a copy, I got the previous edition for € 35.
I preferred the double lenticular edition, but it is not bad at all either. At least I managed to get an edition of Interstellar.

I use https://www.17track.net/en updates don’t go live straight away and can take upto a week but once the ball gets rolling it works great

@cooey this is what I meant Matt. You paid £30 for the original release + £65 for the new release, Total paid £95. Minus £31 for the sale brings it down to £64 you are paying for the NEW release, not £35
But glad that you could get your initial costs back!
Yes but if you bought 2 or multiples, you might make a profit of £15-25 depending upon the demand which should offset the losses you had with the previous release. For me, the problem is a premium retailer doing a WEA re-release.
