Zavvi have tried to fool us before, or omit certain details to create hype or increase sales on certain steelbooks. They are certainly only interested in one thing and anybody trying to convince themselves they 'care' is incredibly naive.

None of this is Wrecks fault though, I'm pretty sure he doesn't appreciate having the wool pulled over his eyes...but Zavvi will keep doing it because they know that at the end of the day we will keep buying these steelbooks.

Even if the artwork does change, I do not buy from Zavvi because I like them....their customer relations are truly abysmal. If another retailer were to pop up with some nice new exclusives & better customer service I would surely support them over Zavvi.

Tbh I'm getting a little bit disenchanted with the whole steelbook collecting deal - to me at least it has lost a large amount of what made it special because steelbooks are being popped out like regular amarays these days (literally HUNDREDS a year) that's cool and all BUT the prices aren't decreasing to reflect that...instead they keep going up and this hobby is just becoming way too expensive.

I would love to buy every single steelbook that comes out of the UK but I can't keep up storage wise or financially. It's time to be a little bit wiser with my money and go after those steelbooks that are truly stunning or simply movies I love. These are the same steelbooks that will hold their value over time.

Maybe Zavvi just couldn't get new artwork approved. Wouldn't be the first time Disney changed their minds on something. That or Zavvi wanted a hole on the back caused by Iron Man's Repulsor rays but facing the wrong way with a bullet casing in it.

That being said, the die hard back cover would look cool on this if there were a flash of light popping out of the hole instead.

Maybe it was just a mistake, Zavvi are known for a few of those. Why would they lie if it was going to be revealed they were lying the minute the artwork went live? Your Zavvi bashing is rather tiresome.

No one is lying around here.

We need to get this straight on how retail works.

All Zavvi do is sell stuff. That's all they do. They don't make the steels. Someone else does that. The studios agree with Zavvi the steels to sell and they supply them.

Zavvi can only go by what studios tell them. They don't know everything, and information provided is always subject to change. It's better to have some insight rather than nothing.

And that goes for all their products they sell. Companies make then, they just sell it. If a product is poor, it's not their fault.

I like that they try to be unique with the artwork, but they should make it "fit" with the rest of the Iron Man-series.

I am not super excited for the artwork on this. I hope this isn't the final product. It should at least have some sort of text in the front saying Iron Man 3 at least. Regardless of the end product, I will end up buying this anyways unless the US comes out with a version of their own.
