Yeah, Toxsic got one the day before and I think he's AL. Some one in CA got it even before that... no rhyme or reason.

Florida checking in! We'll mine arrived, BENT practically full width across. What a crock for Zavvi to modify the upgraded packaging making it cheaper. Its just a cardboard box with a paper thin piece of foam. I'm done paying the extra cost through them if this is the way of the packaging. Cancelling whatever pre-orders I can and sending them elsewhere. The 5 other steelbooks I've received were of the "new" packaging that was much better than previous and ten-fold better than this. Larger Box and thicker foam.

Why not just ship it with a postage stamp and be done with it!

This is my first time ordering from zavvi and i was a little worried that mine hadnt arrived yet either...i got my dispatch notice on the 6th so unless they shipped it later, its weird that its still not here...i also got my dispatch notice for dick tracy and thats not released til the 7th... I gotta say that knowing the rest of the US ninjas havent received it either, puts me a bit at ease, but im still desperate!

ringmav yours will come you are at the mercy of the postal system and sometimes it takes a little longer. i ordered 2, one for me and one for a friend and the first one show up today and the other will probably show up tomorrow.

I got mine yeserday too. I have to say i'm REALLY disappointed with the quality of this steel. The middle iron man chest plate looked like it would be metal but instead has a cheap plastic feel to it. also the steel feels very light. i think this has been addressed befoe, but comparing to the 2 original iron man play.com steels the metal used now is not nearly as good, lighter, feels cheaper and the price has gone up. Thumbs down on this one zavvi. I sold mine to a friend.

Not sure if the Asian releases are the same quality chest plate.. but if they are i'll be boycotting this release all together.

This is my first time ever using Zavvi and they denied my payment! I talked to PayPal about it and they said it was fine on their end, so I'm not sure why they denied me. Its really frustrating. I've been waiting for this steel for awhile. Has anyone had this problem with them before? Is there an email address to contact them? I don't really want to have to call international.

i would personally go with the amazon.es one, its cheaper for the same steel and better packaging. If you need 3d, your best bet would be amazon.it

theres been many folks with payment issues regarding paypal (check the retailer thread for more info) but if you still want to go with zavvi, i personally would suggest using a credit card

Got mine yesterday (with Hot Shots & Hot Shots Part Deux ), in perfect condition. Didn't have any problem with PayPal, BTW. Ordered September 18th, so it took 6 business days to Qc, Canada
