Some buyers will need to be careful as a lot of these will end up on ebay and some sellers might not be clear in the description so some might think it the full package they will be ordering unless its included with the V2 Iron Man listings as an extra

I look forward to seeing what nut prices they ask on ebay for any empty steelbook case and having a laugh

Yeah, it will open up a can of worms...I imagine the resellers/business partners dumping loads on eBay...

V1 & V2 are sufficiently different. V1 only has debossing - eyes and Ironman lettering, and so no border. V2 is embossed lettering with border.

Well not all eBay listings have accurate info or use real pics. Just saying

The V1 case will be either shrinkwrapped or polybagged (not made clear which it is) and a Blufans sticker will be stuck on top with "No disc" written on it.

The V2 shipments from the manufacturer are due to be delivered to Blufans on 29 Dec. Shipping to customers should begin in the new calendar year. V1 purchases will be shipped together with V2.

A very strange turn of events, Blufans are only going to add confusion, that's a lot of steelbooks they are putting back in the market, are they trying to make up for some sort of loss with other releases, which Scanavo denied responsibility? This will be like a plain release with no goodies but if they do sell it with no disc that will be real odd. I'm thinking what will happen with the Thor steelbooks that Scanavo Hong Kong made to their own specs, I really hope the 2nd version is gloss and has improvements, unlike Iron Man there will be a huge difference, well if Blufans gets the release the way it was planned.

A lot of issues with the new Iron Man releases, I'm still hopeful we get a quality release for Iron Man, otherwise I will have to be content with my Play release, if Blufans fails to deliver.

I'm not sure how much this will effect the value of the 2nd Iron Man Steelbook from Blufans, can see a load of them ending up on ebay, restricting buyers to 1 steelbook may help with that but some people always seem to get more than a few copies, I can't see many collectors being happy with this move by Blufans, what a big mess this is.

The price for the empty V1 Iron Man steelbook is $10 per copy.The V1 case is not for any individual sale or any other public offering. Only members have the right to purchase the exclusive V1 steelbook are the members successfully made to the final group buy list. And it is strictly limited to 1 V1 case per 1 regular Iron Man V2 group buy purchase. For example, if you ordered two copies of Full slip V2 and one copy of 1/4 V2, you have the right to purchase up to three of V1 cases. or If you ordered one copy of full slip V2 or one copy of 1/4 slip V2, you can only buy one copy of V1 case. Please understand the policy and don't request more than you should. However, the V1 case purchase is not mandatory. You can choose to buy the quantity less than your limit or buy none if you are not interested it at all. Like I mentioned in previous posts, the ideas is mainly due to an overwhelming demand domestically in China and international here. It was not easy but Blufans finally made this possible and accessible to all group buy members here. I will try to send out all invoices for both versions on Dec. 22nd. and I will list the options with V1 purchase or without on the invoices. If you have any questions regarding these, please pm me.
