I don't think Kevin would say "major announcement" if it's just to do with release date and invoices. There's nothing major about that. I think it has to do with the contents of the package...gifts, artwork etc.

It is absolutely NOT a cancellation. The post on BD forums that Kevin posted says he was locking the group buy thread for NOW. This implies that the release is still happening. Announcement could possible an artwork change on the slip, definitely not the steel as we have already seen pics, maybe a gift included to entice people over the Kimchi, or possibly a far moved up release date.

I did post its one of either possibilities not just might be cancelled

I wish companies wouldn't announce an announcement leaving us to wait for the announcement. Just announce it. Like when you see those ???? threads, there's no point. We can already guess theirs gonna be another Steelbook made sometime in the future, either tell us what it is or don't.
