They are been forced fed to Grimlock, who will then sh!t them out and Zavvi will sell them as "Ultra Limited Releases" at 24 quid a pop.

Is it just me or are there others who ask themselves what's wrong with the debossed eye? Sorry for my incompetence to see it so please enlighten me

I think I figured it out. Looking at the main pic, you can see there is a nice strong light reflection on Iron Man's eyebrow. There's a lot of white that kind of blurs the edge:

This is what I think the fix is. Green is where the debossing needs to go, the red is where they need to remove debossing.

I thought it was just because the embossing wasn't 100% following the line in the top left corner of the eye....

I'm fine with this even if we're lining up to see Avengers 2 by the time it ships (maybe a slight exaggeration). I honestly can't tell from the pics where the defect is, but if they say it has a defect and they're willing to correct and throw in goodies, who am I to argue

Only thing I can think is if Blufans were sent one before mass production and didn't notice it originally.

That embossing error is hardly a major one in my eyes (no pun intended) I doubt anyone would have really noticed. Fair play to them though.

Only thing I can think is if Blufans were sent one before mass production and didn't notice it originally.

They probably passed the proof without realising and saw the mistake afterwards I bet. Zavvi should take a leaf from Blufans book, those Winter Soldier's should have been recalled in my opinion, but I still like mine.

I'm curious why do they need to change the inside artwork surely that was what was approved in the first place

When will we see what the new inside artwork is and what if collectors prefer the previous inside artwork we thought we were getting and is there a reason as to why the inside artwork has to be changed as the fault is on the back of the steelbook is it not

Same here.

I'm glad they're still going to try for a December release too, it probably won't happen, but it would be nice if it did.

Also, my guess as to why BF has to eat the cost to produce these again is that BF provided the artwork to Scanavo for the debossing die and it was incorrect. They then didn't notice (or there was a miscommunication as Kevin stated) until all had been debossed, so the whole lot has to be redone at their expense.

I liked the inside artwork. Not sure why everyone is so up in arms over it.
