Sorry to hear that @dannywizkid :( FWIW, I have just emailed Tony again asking if he has heard anything from UK Border Force

Ron

Hi Ron,

I have kept an eye out on the thread and have been frustrated and sad for everyone that is having to deal with this nonsense.

I hate to say it mate, but I don't think you will be receiving your copy by the sounds of it, which is bang out of order.

My advice would be to go through PayPal and get your money back now. It may cost you double to get one of the bay, but soon everyone else may need to do the same anyway :(

Tony/Kimchi in my dealings with them, have never given the impression they would jump through hoops for their customers. I for one, have no intention of using them again - he should be having sleepless nights, firing emails and a like to sort out this mess.

People say it's not Kimchi's fault, but I'm sorry, in this situation the buck stops with them and Border Force.

Kimchi WILL start to take note when the refunds get processed, however.

Good luck to everyone- I do truly hope it works out for you all.

Hi @PKAVFC upon reading your post I completely agree, I am now in the process of getting my money back and buying off the bay, this is the first and last time I shop with them absolutely terrible service I take back what I said about it not being his fault, I try to see the best in everyone but sadly it has come to me getting my money back

Do we actually know how many of these are being held pending destruction? Are we talking hundreds or just a small hand full? From what I can see it can't be that many as it's the same people posting about the situation.
I feel for those affected :(.

I'll wait a while to see what happens before I go down the refund route, I'm not in any great rush for the cash back, and knowing how piss poor BF are it wouldn't surprise me if IM just shows up on the doorstep in the new year.

What irks me is there is no FreePost address which means you will be out of pocket every time you post to them.

At this age having no proper email or no electronic mode of communication or no computerized system that can address these type of issues shows how backward some of the Government entities are.

It shows they don't want to be questioned

So some smarty pants randomly opens up few parcels and alerts FACT thinking he/she will get a bonus or is it some temporary case worker who is new to the system making a wrong decision?

A colleague of mine was denied VISA here by a temporary case worker who wasn't aware of the rules and within a week he got an apology letter for the gaffe asking him not to bring on any legal action but what he went through was a week of mental agony which can never be easily compensated.

It would be a surprise if bf bothered to email or contact us as they ask for all forms of communications when writing to them.

It does make you think twice about kimchi, i have sent 3 emails to tony and not had a response at all.

Not even a letter @Bigmac

Nope :( No letter and No steels

Mine has been in limbo(Incheon) since 2nd Dec 15.11

To be honest it isn't Tony (KimchiDvD) fault, they only post as we instruct and pray like us all that it arrives safe and sound!

Their customer service needs to be better!

On this occasion something has happened, unsure if it's stuck waiting to be destroyed like other's or if it's just lost. A bit of a coincidence though that other's are still waiting and others have had letters.

Something is definitely not right and I can't see how 5 or 6 of us are still waiting (Maybe more) they can't all be lost, so only assume they are being held by BF awaiting destruction. Maybe our letters have also been lost lol But given the stupid time frame in which to reply, my guess is they are all destroyed anyway.

Oh well chalk it down to experience ;)

I will just instruct Tony to apply credit to my account or refund. Bring on Planet of the apes lenti :)

Could you tell me how this goes?
And what's the full number? I'll give it a go if I get a second. I have had no letter but my Iron Man and TDKR are MIA

Turned out to be another dead end. That was the team responsible for organise IPR but they have nothing to do with goods seized for infringing upon it. And they couldn't even point me where else to turn either. The only positive she gave was that she did say we should have received a letter at the same time as the others if ours had been seized but obviously that doesn't help account for where they are now. Honestly have never come across a situation where it is so difficult to find out information to such a simple question like where is my parcel! No letter for me today either. I think I will wait a few days after new year then ask Tony for a refund.
