Is it not worth waiting until we've had updates from UKBF on what is happening, as you could still get your box through if all goes well. As it stands none have been destroyed so once they start getting released then yours could be in that lot (even if you didn't get an official letter).
Granted but after speaking to customs and excise during this whole debacle by uk law if a parcel is seized a letter has to be sent to the recipient explaining the stages of process and a uk customers rights, how to appeal etc etc, if you don't have a letter means they don't have it

Fair enough that's a valid point but seeing as I have until the 12th when the PayPal deadline to even make a disputed ends I'm covering my ass as to get my money back which I sadly can't just write off, I've imported stuff from all corners of the earth same as many people here and have never dealt with such ignorance and poor service in my life, I'm not sorry for my opinion but if I was in the same position as kimchi I would be doing backflips trying to sort this out, as my integrity at this point would be being questioned, again I reiterate from an earlier post since the deadline passed which would have been the 17th I emailed him not once being impolite or rude to get absolute zero response, so I emailed him a few days later still to get no response again assuming he's busy I left it till last week still zero response so I've had no option to set up a dispute, he's not selling these out of the goodness of his heart he's here to make money off people like us who are avid collectors

Ok bud, I was just making a suggestion which might have been of help. There are still 10 days left before the PayPal deadline so you have time to wait a few days until there are any updates, then if not you can still go down your stated route without any big difference.

Good luck either way.

No offence taken bud, we're all here to help out when we can (well, most of us anyway! :p). I'm not trying to tell people what they should and shouldn't do, just trying to throw a bit of perspective when people are losing it!! ;)

It was my birthday on New Years Eve which is always a bit crap really! Sounds like you had a better time than I did :hilarious:

Yeah, I'm holding off on a reply from UKBF before doing anything else personally.

If you're referring to PayPal's buyer protection, you're covered up to 180 days (in the UK) from purchase now, it got extended to that from 45 days on 17th June 2014. :)

If that's the case then why when I decided to raise a dispute it says I paid on the 17th nov and have till the 12th jan to raise it to a claim

Thats odd, I get emails from PayPal after I've paid for something, stating that I have 180 days to make a claim in the event of a problem.. if they have told you that you only have till the 12th then (if it were me) I would call them tomorrow and check with them so you have some peace of mind while you wait for your package or BF letter to arrive. I am surprised you haven't had a reply from Tony as it has been a month since he sent your steelbook out, have you checked all your email inbox folders, including your junk mail folder?
I hope you hear something soon regarding your steelbook. . It can be very stressful dealing with retailers sometimes, and it sounds like you have encountered a lot of frustrating dead ends, my fingers are crossed for you.
Do check your email folders (if you haven't already) as a few months ago I tried to order with kimchi but the system crashed, I later found the transaction in my order history and I asked tony to cancel it, I didn't think he'd emailed me back until I was clearing out my email folders and found his reply in my junk mail folder. . Its worth a look.:)

Thats a shame. Like you said before, you will get a refund then if the steel turns up you can return the refund cash back to kimchi.. when this steel was first released it was going on the bay for £100, then it went down, and I saw a few go for a little under £50.. when you get your refund, keep an eye on the bay for a good price.. You'll either get this release for a few extra quid on there or your original order will turn up, but one way or another you will have this in your collection!
Like you said, onwards and upwards for 2015.. stay positive.. You're not alone here :):):)

Been to my local delivery office to pick up TDKR nova exclusive. Sadly no other packages (IM) collecting dust. So with no letter or steelbook I can only assume that it's lost. I will give it till the end of next week and then contact PayPal.

when you open a case paypal give you time to resolve problem with seller (in your case to 12th) first , if buyer and seller can't resolve a problem than you can raise this claim and paypal will make decision in next few days. So i believe you have 180 days to initiate (open) a case -but you on ready do this.
