This sold out really fast, being cheaper than everywhere else it was a bargain in my opinion, would've grabbed one myself if I didn't have a copy already :D

wow - £52
shame on you ES

I can honestly say, I wouldnt pay more than £35 each for these (had I not already got them).
That's my personal limit on ANY steel, no matter how rare or sought after

I think you'll find it's called business and happens everywhere not just for steelbooks. I say good luck to anyone who has the balls and brains to take a risk and hopefully make some money. Also, people seem to forget that the selling thread on here is full of people selling multiple copies for a profit and also on eBay, Play, Amazon blah blah blah. It's not going to go away so just accept it. It seems that since ES have come along with their limited runs lots of people suddenly have an issue with eBayers etc. Not sure why as this was happening long before ES. Iron Man 1 & 2, Source Code, Pulp Fiction, Rise of Planet of the Apes etc etc etc...........................

the problem is that you compairing bunch of human individuals with a visible company that works with method.

if some guy selling a fake watch on ebay or a wall mart is selling fake watches in there stores it's the same but it's actually not.

I don't see the problem. If they had been priced at retail, then the first person to see them would've bought all of the copies available (as per Entertainment Store's policy of not limiting the number of copies per order) and everyone would've missed out anyway.

You can't blame Entertainment Store for wanting to make money and if I was looking to grab a copy of this, I would rather try and buy it off a reputable store than an eBay reseller. We also don't know how they acquired this stock or how much it cost them, so let's not make judgements when we don't know the facts.

Some of the threads on here (not me, the threads), have stated that ES is a one man band (True? who knows). There's also lots of eBay businesses who are sole traders. Also, quite a few sellers on forums also sell on ebay, play and amazon - and again, good luck to all of them.

Partially agree but not everyone is selling multiple copies for a profit.;)

yep at the end it's up to everyone it self if he like/disike and/or he wants to support it. i for myself cancelled all ES preorders and won't buy anything from than in the future :)

Same applies to making judgements and comments about selling at eBay. If you theory is true then you can't blame someone who legitimately bought 10 copies and reselling them. For a retailer who have got some contacts at Paramount / Scanavo this is not looking good IMO.

It's not ES policy it's play.com policy. All sellers on play are just shops like on ebay so in a way they're all resellers - even Zavvi are on play. Sure ES would sell more if they had a shop on ebay.

As for being a reputable store, no one even mentioned them until Jack Reacher.

I need this bad boy already own the future shop version but I love this one too
I hear ya. I have been thinking about investing in the FS release...but it's gonna take a lot of convincing myself to actually go there. I actually do prefer this UK release, but it'd be great to own both.

So people are pissing and whinging that a company on play.com are selling an item at a higher price than retailer yet you can go to the trade forum on here and see people asking even more ridiculous prices for the same steel (and others) and even see members on here who have a sellers account on play.com offering similar "rarer" titles for extortionate prices as well?!

It appears most people are only happy if they get what THEY want and if they dont they have a hissy fit yet its ok to sell steels for stupid amounts themselves?!

If you dont think its worth £52 then dont buy it, simple, just as you shouldnt if prices on ebay are too high or if the prices in the trade forum are ridiculous (probably why most trade threads are rammed)

Hopefully anyone who got this is happy with the purchase :) i hope theyre all mint
