in that case can someone tell play.com to change the 'Buy Now' to 'Sold Out' so i don't have to read any more comments saying that they have just placed an order

It would be better if they did put sold out. Right now they are gathering customers who think they will get a copy only to find their order is going to be cancelled. They might have some angry customers

I believe its a manual process to remove a product from ordering, so it makes sense, they probably missed that. We'll get an official message from play at the open of business tomorrow.

And for everyone thats asked, play.com has a system thats not integrated with inventory, so thats why the order has gone through.

Almost guarantee that your just recently made order will be cancelled.

So if you missed out, or just created an order, visit the trading forum and see if theres still room in a group buy.

We like to keep it on topic and yes it can get out of hand very quickly. A lot of people subscribe to the thread for updates on Iron Man and when others are posting about other titles in this thread it can become very frustrating when they get an email on a different subject and visit the forum only to discover it's just chit chat on something else completely.

All we ask is that people respect that and make it as pleasant as possible for everybody.

There is a lounge in the Sticky section for off topic discussions for those that would like to discuss something other than Iron Man.
