Why do they have so much iron man releases for everything ? more then half my collection on everything consist of iron man lol. Thanks god he one of my favorite characters.

Plain and simple: it makes money. Look at so many other popular films like Blade Runner, the evil dead series, Scott pilgrim, all the jaws releases coming in the next 6 months. The companies are in it for the fortune and glory :movie:

I do not have FS one, so I would like to get this edition. Also I'm happy that this one from play.com will be different from FS release, it would be not fair against to collectors who already have FS edition if it was the same.
Only have hope that this play one also will be embossed/debossed.

Here's what I hope doesn't happen. I hope play and paramount don't make this anyway inferior to the FS Exclusive, just because that is the holy grail steelbook. So, I would not like to see a poor steelbook made on purpose just to keep the FS version valued high. It's ok by me to have different art from the FS exclusive as I would not like others to be unhappy, but make this bad boy a desired steelbook!

OK guys, I have been on this forum less than a year. This is a stupid question. But what makes Ironman FS the holy grail of steelbooks? Just curious. I am not trying to take away anything. I would just like to know.

Unique art, embossing, one of the early Futureshop exclusives, therefore, it had a limited production. Coupled with the fact that it is better than the German steelbook and the fact that the movie rocks, makes this the holy grail, arguably.

+ The fact FS don't ship outside CA so us International collectors had no chance of sourcing without being a member of a GB/personal shipment.

This was released in the very early days (4 years ago?) of SB blu-ray collecting and many people were still on DVD only.
