If you keep an eye on eBay you sometimes get lucky. I picked up one (open but mint) not long before Christmas for a buy it now of £20. Right place at the right time. And the shopped packaged the hell out of it.

I too have been looking, but for such a pricy steel, I won't use eBay. There are plenty of members trading / selling them on here. Adding to that as 99% on here are collectors, so they know how to package them for post.

Exactly. Got my version from a very nice member here a couple of months ago for £45 including shipping and it was new and sealed though titled as having a spine slash which actually turned out to be a wrinkle of the wrapping. The steelbook is in perfect condition. Sometimes you just need to contact the right person at the right time
 thumbs up for this brilliant community

Great pictures. Got a sealed one for Christmas and just had to open it!

It's lovely.

Thanks greg, I could only wait a few hours.. I considered keeping them sealed but I told myself (as I always do) I need to fully enjoy my steelbooks, unwrapping them is really exciting for me.. I get why people don't open them but I personally have to get the whole experience and make them a usable collection(I don't think I could justify the personal expense if I didn't, if I was better off I would totally buy 2 of everthing so I could have the best of both). :scat:

Great steelbooks from good old play.com

Thanks Harry. I wasn't collecting during the good old days of play.com:( but I've done my best playing catch up:D. Play.com releases were awesome, it must of been so much fun for all you hdn guys back then, great releases and great prices.:scat:

plus I bet there's lots of people who think they have mint sealed copies which are are actually far from it,

I kept a few sealed in the past when I started collecting and thought they were mint until I opened them and found they had tiny dents so imo its always best to open otherwise u really don't know what the steel is like, and once open at least u know now

Totally agree on that score, I personally like to know the full condition of the steels I own, that way if I know one of my steels has dent, ding or scratch I will always look out for a cheap re-buy. As for this iron man SB, it was gonna be a one time purchase from ebay but it was sent in a jiffy, I didn't think I could justify the price of a re buy and would be stuck with it, until TheWorz helped me out:scat: no more searching and no more dented iron man:D:D
