Actually I find it very useful and a great Idea ! This card offers a protection to avoid the steel from rubbing onto the slipcover while inserting it. With this card, I just put the steel into it and slide it in the lenti slipcover = no rubbing of steel on the slip while inserting it = less likely to scratch your steel when inserting it :wacky:
O.k., You guys. Enought talk about inserting, rubbing, and sliding things in...:squint:
This is a family-friendly thread.o_O:hilarious:

Have to disagree with you there buddy. I actually find the opposite.

I've never had any trouble sliding a steelbook into a slip. But with this it's such an awkward fit that I find the new cardboard j-card is rubbing off the steelbook a lot more. Especially as you're trying to negotiate the 'flappy' bits (at the front) under the slip.

I find your just substituting rubbing the steelbook off the card (a lot more) instead of the usually looser slip.

I don't know what to say, for me it works perfectly o_O

Got my Lenti A and B yesterday.
I prefered Lenti B when I saw the first pictures. But in hand I like Lenti A more.
Lenti B has difficult angle to see the moving blood perfectly.
My Lenti A unfortunately has a damaged line on the lenti from one side to the other through the title and one more 3 cm long in the corner.
I saw them when I took the foil off. Was disappointed.
Wrote Tony yesterday and they will check and send a new slipcover.

Lenti A has good depth but I find it too dark and has less details (background).
For me it is a league under the MEMENTO Lenti for example.

Lenti A arrived this morning and I'm very pleased. I can't believe how fast Kimchi got these sent out to everyone. This disc has a slightly higher bitrate than my UK disc but unfortunately the commentary is only in Korean, ah well, it was only a lecturer and critic weighing in on it with their opinions as opposed to David Robert Mitchell himself so still going to trade in my amaray somewhere. The various bits and pieces didn't blow me away entirely but wow, the steel and lenti itself are phenomenal. Very happy to have this and the U.S. steel in my possession.

Got my 1 click today. I was not too happy when I saw the box as it was ripped open on one corner.. I haven't opened them but they look ok. Phew. Kimchi should use stronger boxes.

when you inspect your steel(s), can you post feedback as to know if there is some spots on the darker places on the steel and also small tiny scratches at some random places ? for me Packages are MINT but steels is Ultra Glossy and it seems that both my copies are not perfect as they should be...the too Glossy seems to highlight defects much easier :dunno:

I haven't decided if I'll open one of them yet. My Whiplash steelbook, also a The Blu release, came with a nice scratch though.

it seems to be random as my Whiplash was absolute Perfection. But when I play with the light with the steel, I am able to get some angle that steel looks Flawless but close you can see those spots I was referring to(seems like the steel didn't fully dried it looks) and also small scratches here and there but overall the packages and Steel just so sweet. I am not as OCD as I was so on a fully Ultra Gloss like this I can't imagine them being able to make a Flawless one. But steel design is sublime. Back art is a bit dark to see the girl on the wheelchair but the debossed title with the blue around each letter is very very nice.

I am happy with it, despite small imperfections.

...My Lenti A unfortunately has a damaged line on the lenti from one side to the other through the title...

I have the same line once I removed protective film on lenti A I could see it(shrink wrap you can't see it), there is a faint line going across through the title as well, you have to play with the light to see it though. it doesn't look/feel like a scratch, it seems part of the lenticular piece itself.

Got Lenti A and it's too dark to impress "under wraps." Suppose I'll just leave it sealed like most the rest. Not much going on on the lenti. If there is another collectible of this title I'll consider it. Too late to look through the recent posts in this thread, but I'll probably learn something when I do.
