Hey guys-we don't set the prices, the group buy leader does. Everyone is free to not join the group buy and obtain the Steelbook elsewhere, but these exclusives tend to rise over time, as we've seen for other Blufans Exclusives-so you are free to make the best choice for you. Our site is simply trying to help our members obtain some copies of this limited run, the easiest way possible (hubs, shipping help, etc) by helping organize these buys. Please see the group buy thread for the 1st closed list for all details to participate. 2nd chance to join the next list is Friday, March 8th. Go live time of 10PM (ET) (USA). 3AM March 9th. no offense to you, but don't buy it. It's that simple man... some people are just plain weird LOL. I see people complain about pricing, movie selection, artwork, slipcover, etc...yet, those same people still take their reserved spot from the people who collect them.

If you don't like it, then move on.

If you think this is high wait till it hits eBay. Elite Squad is a perfect example, you won't find another copy at cost.

It is a joke but not for all as I think group buy host is based in Canada and has got to include the cost of shipping from China to Canada.

Everyone likes to buy cheapest as possible, however, in this case we aren't setting up prices. I can see where he is coming from, but $50 will soon turn to $100 or more on eBay.

We are also not keeping in mind the initial shipping costs from China to Canada .

I would love to buy all steelbook for $5 LOL...but like you said, we don't set the price. It is what it is.... I'm sure Kevin is setting the price that includes HDN fees, shipping to him, etc.

Besides, it's not too far off from Taiwan/Japan price LOL.

From the group buy thread:

3) In order to save some money for our members, 4 main shipping and distribution hubs will be set up in the member concentrated countries .(1 for Canada, 1 for USA, 1 for UK and 1 for the rest of world.) Of course, I am flexible to all your shipping requests, but please let me know by the April 30th.

4) Once the hub is in order, the shipping invoice will be billed at the end of April. and please pay the last invoice ASAP. The shipping invoice is due on May 15th. If the shipping invoice is unpaid by the deadline, your spot will be removed and given to the member on the wait list.

I believe the price is still $50 before shipping, even with hubs.

sorry but I have to tell you that you do not understand.

I said that for me it was a bit expensive but it will not stop me from buying it, I have never criticized the film or anything I do not see why I do not will reserve.
It is like saying that a car is expensive but if I need it, I am forced to buy it.

And to be honest, I'm not alone in thinking that it is a bit expensive and it's nobody's fault.

Given Kevin's preference of trust etc. And obviously only trusted individuals are chosen for hubs so then so long as blufans is fine with shipping direct then they will. And they did in past....

so in short, even if shipping direct isnt going to make the price of the steel come down any.

They always sell their steels , metalboxes etc. pricey to the rest of the world. Just what they do ... but the bells and whistles do cost more to produce. This edition comes with a usb jump drive and a paramount bag so I'm sure there is cost in that as well. Plus slip , plus ID card etc etc ... it all adds up.

Does that mean we get the bonus goodies Wreck? Someone posted previously that it was only the first (40?) people to preorder that got these... Won't stop me trying again for the GB either way though! Page took a while to load last night and posted when 38 were already posted, I was 62 or so even with copy/paste... :-( hopefully I'll make it on one of the other chances, best way to do it for something with as high a demand as this!
