This is an email I received from Luke @ Entertainment Store a few days ago

I emailed Luke earlier in the week, to ask if I would get a replacement copy as I'd just returned my spine slashed one.

He said I'd get a new copy, like everyone else, but I'd get my first replacement (before they said they'd reprint all 500) for the slashed copy only if it'd gone thru the warehouse before they announced the reprint.

Well, it did - and I now have what appears to be a mint copy - and I should also then get the reprint at the end of May or whenever it's due.

I haven't busted the wrap yet but I cannot feel or see the faint line on the front gloss that many of the 1st print copies had, including the one I had received with the slashed spine.

Very impressed by ES on this - they handled this perfectly IMO

This particular subject has been discussed to death on this thread to be honest dude. If you wanna get the cheapest version that is cool, other people (like myself) have gone for this version for it's exclusivity due to the limited print with the j card. It is perfectly fine for you to want the cheapest version, just as it is fine for others to go for this particular one

Well I have to say I'm very disappointed. I never received a copy of this steelbook. I'll be back in the US when the replacement comes out. I emailed Luke about this and he refunded my money. I appreciate it's not the fault of ES that the steelbook was scratched, but I've never had a steelbook go missing in the mail before. I was hoping to have this before I returned to the US, and to have a UK (English) version, and now it all feels like a waste of time. I even had a moment of 'why am I buying this movie anyway?' Sigh. I wish the US would release this as a steelbook.

I must admit I cannot recall a single instance of one of my parcels going missing either, especially domestically, yet I didn't receive this one either, and neither it seems did a number of others on this thread. Coincidence?

Mine just got here and this is actually a really nice steelbook. I like the embossing and it has a nice feel to it

ordered the french one as soon as it was announced, saw this and thought nice and thats as far as i got. I am more than happy to stick with my french one

The black will sit nicely next to the white of H&G. Only the serious collector will have both, so its good to know that those who do, have the start of a unique set. I'm sure the ones who missed out will get to see some photos of them together though, so its not so bad.

I missed out on h&g. I'm hoping to trade a JR for one at release. They may also get some cancellations like last time 1 week before?

Just reread it, I meant that I enjoy seeing pics of all the grails, like FS Iron Man and LGB etc. Hopefully a few good photos will appear with these two. I'm sure a few will reappear for another chance for a lucky few of those who missed out first time.

Some people are massively overestimating the potential collectibility of these titles.

I am a huge fan of Entertainment Store and their business model but lets be realistic here....
