Haha!! Yeah I agree it’s an odd choice but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

I buy less and less steelbooks now because of the higher price combined with more and more use of terrible artwork. You see on almost every release now that the standard edition gets one of the poster artworks while the steelbook gets some kind of experimental art. In 95% of the cases, the standard release artwork takes a dump on the steel. This release is just another example of that. Coin and card is cool but all artworks are terrible imo. And it’s double the price of the standard slipcover version!

gold coin and card are super cool gimmicks and i dont even like those things usually.. steelbook looks ok i guess.. slipcover is horrible tho.. feels so 2009 with all the text and ratings..

The artist who created both the steel art and slip art is a very talented artist, has a style for the trippy California look on most things he creates. I am surprised they went with him but then I think his art for the amazon slip suits JW the most out the others. Very stylish. The original painted piece looks crazy good
