I don’t remember seeing any proofs that those companies actually tried to get any non-official art approved. I could imagine working with official art is just inherently easier as it is readily available and doesn’t require to go extra step to contact the artist, commission his/her art and then also get approval from the studio.

It's happened with Manta often. They'll post updates and include things like "it's been a frustrating process to get artwork approved from studio" etc. But hey, if CMA is working closely with Warner Italy and getting fast approvals, all power to them!

Final Artworks!

After two months of intense work, even through many difficulties, we are proud to show you the final artwork of the lenticular version that completes the CMA edition of Joker!
We know that this title is probably the most wanted of the year and that there will be several high-level editions, but we are committed to offering a completely alternative ART version, confirming the flip effect for the lenticular version as required by most collectors via the survey.

The internal artwork for collector box set will also be shown soon!
The CMA edition is particularly complete offering two variants of steelbook with 4K and Blu Ray disc.
The situation of uncertainty on the world panaorama due to codv19 has unfortunately required a slight postponement of the preorder date which will be confirmed in the next days (presumably in the first half of April).
It is our firm intention not to burden the collectors in this difficult moment, so we will wait for the situation to normalize to give everyone the opportunity to buy this title!
A big hug from Italy that is facing the most difficult phase of the quarantine, to all European and international friends, be strong and soon we will return to collect premium editions with even more passion!

I can't hide from you that it is not easy to work in this moment when contacts with the companies that deal with printing are very complex.
We continued to work on the design part to ensure high-level artworks involving new artists and taking great care of the details.
I will not tell you that the return to normal will be fast, but we have not stopped taking care of production even for a day!

I am very happy that you enjoyed the lenticular effect!

I'm working on inside artwor of box set today...i ca'nt wait to show final look!

The full box edition is €139.90

Basically €25 extra for just the box.
