I have all 3 from Amazon for $35 shipped. Can't beat that really.

Also taking shipping out to make it sound like a better deal doesn't work either. Its still $125. whether its the steelbooks are $125 with free shipping or there $33 dollars each with $25 shipping, it's all the same. That said i think it will turn out nice, and hope everybody enjoys it.

You have to take into account, that usually most Blu Rays (especially digibook and steelbook editions) in Asia are significantly more expensive than here in Germany or other European countries. Therefore you cannot compare the price of this edition to the bare German steelbooks.

If this had been a Blufans release everyone would be all over it....... HTTYD was great, Gladiator great... and I've just been lucky to get those 2... I can't wait to see the finished product.

HTTYD and Gladiator didn't get comparable releases at the same(ish) time for 1/3 of the price.

At least when BF announced their Big Hero 6 it was entirely different to Nova and the WWA.

Well, it's just too much money for what it is. And to the joker who called the German ones 'Bare Bones' they aren't.
Look at what you're getting here for your extra money 3d version of JP1, 1 loose lenticular, 1 slipbox, 3 slipcovers,1 fold out leaflet, 12 postcards, and a little plastic card with a number on. - for an additional $82 USD I think not!

Also there's the small fact that I was assured by Xin they would come in significantly cheaper than this.

Then you probably shouldn't buy any Limited Editions. The only things we get as extras with Limited Editions usually only are slips, lenticulars, cards etc. Nothing really worth the extra money one may think. Me personally, I like those extras. But if you only want the steelbooks I guess our German release is definitely the way to go.

Everybody likes the extras but nobody should get fleeced for the extras. There is no justification for the huge difference in price.

I still haven't decided. This is a lot for a WWA SB, I would feel better about it if the Clear Slip box looked thicker. Can we get a better picture of that? I'm not sure if it being debossed will add anything to it I'm worried it will not fit all 3 Edition Slipcases tight. Also am I the only one that doesn't like it being called The Ultimate Trilogy

That's because the logo on the slipbox is also WWA and is featured on every trilogy boxset I've seen.

I really wanna see pictures of the slipbox before the GB. @wxlinkswd ??

I will be passing on this

I got Jurassic Park steelbook from Zavvi for €18.00 and I even tried to cancel that order to get the cheaper same steelbook from Amazon Germany but was to late to cancel the order from Zavvi

I have on order with Amazon Germany Jurassic Park 2 and Jurassic Park 3 for €25.96 with shipping costs included
The total cost for all 3 steelbooks for me including shipping costs was €43.96

As the steelbooks from HDzeta are the same bar the First film including the 3D Disc
The cost of $125.00 and that excludes PP Fees is to much to double dip as the extras included are not worth the extra cost in my opinion

But in saying all that if these steelbooks had not been available from Zavvi or Amazon I would have been getting the HDzeta Exclusive

For those who are getting this I hope you get your order in and enjoy your HDzeta Exclusive

Nope, not buying into that at all.

There is a vast difference between what you're getting in terms of value for money in a Nova or Film Arena release and this, and the equally exhorbitant pricing of the Saving Private Ryan HDzs - these can quite fairly be labelled Rip Off!

I realize that. I don't quite get what is holding the 3 Slipboxes together or am I seeing something that isn't there and once you open the shrink wrap you have 3 different slipboxes break apart and a mess of extras? Where are these extras stored btw? Is the 3 movie set always called the, "Ultimate Trilogy" I'm not a die hard JP fan but that title is horrid

I think you're looking at it wrong. Each has a slipcover, and they go together into the silver slipbox.
All you have besides that is a loose lenticular, and a dozen postcards.JP1 has 3d; but you can buy those for just £8 in the UK.
And, as I have said previously, for that dubious privilege you are paying $82 extra!

Oh, and Marina Blue, sorry pal, but if you think that is 'great value' you are living in cloud cuckoo land.

I just replied like someone dyslexic lol which is why I deleted the quote. I understand perfectly well I just don't see a very good image of the slipbox? It's just one of the two sides, not a great shot, also no shot of what the loose Lenti will look like. Seems like those are two of it's big selling points and I'm not paying that price on hope.

Jack, I really love this release and "Jurassic Park" is one of my favorites! I quit buying the bare bones, big box releases, and pick up the releases that are a little different from the bigger print run stuff.

This is a great bargain and I'll be getting more than one. One to open and one to cherish.

I just love it!!! :)
