So does the outer slipbox come sealed or is it just the individual slips. I think it would be cool if the outer box wasn't sealed so I could enjoy the slips while still keeping mine "sealed/new." I'm contemplating dropping another $30 on the Germany ones so I don't have to open this.

I would think the outer box will be sealed, not sure about the individual slips.

This looks great the metal slip on the outer box looks awesome just the way they have it any debossed or anything like would not work here I think.

The individual slips are sealed according to the pictures. When you see them in the box, the spines clearly have plastic on the corners.

Yep it looks like they are, I'm still sure the outer box will be sealed aswell though.

The prize of the steelbooks alone at amazon.cn is about 27 Euro (30 USD) each (not including shipping). Thus the extras are for sure worth every extra penny.

But why would anyone order it from amazon.cn if they only wanted the steelbooks???? still available for 10 euros each on Amazon.de. So definitely not worth it no matter how hard you try to convince yourself.

There was no need to convince myself, because I knew I will order it from the first time it was announced. And with my comment I only wanted to point out that is was not possible for HDZETA to make this edition significantly cheaper. Hence the comparison with the amazon.cn prices. And by the way, value lies in the eyes of the beholder... Thus there is no need to convince us, who purchased this nice edition that it is not worth it.

If you see it that way, there are many cheaper alternatives to the Kimchi Thor 2 Lenticular release, for example. Still collectors are paying way more than 100 Euro for the release. For me there is no alternative to HDZetas Jurassic Park Box, because it is unique on the market. If you only want the steelbooks, then of course the German steels are the cheapest option.

I'm really excited to get this... it's unique, only 300 sets worldwide. Everyone has their own opinion, but personally, I like it. I am also grateful for the opportunity to own it from the GBs that we are able to be involved in, so thanks for all involved.
