Not seen the film yet, but watching it tomorrow. Got my preorder up already however, as my faith being an awesome film is good... especially seeing some of the comments here which is great. Glad HMV are back up and running online too. My favourite retail store.

Thats the thing, i cancelled it the first time it just said £19.99 i tryed canceling a few times because it was still showing, but now it says total to be refunded £319 when it was only £20 due to be refunded :S

If they want to give me £300 im all up for that lol

Not long back from seeing the movie; All I can say is WOW...

I was a little bit sceptical (& to be perfectly honest, was almost half expecting to be a little disappointed- don't ask why..) but had no reason to be so on the fence about it- Loved everything about the movie!! Now, need to get my order in @ HMV...

Although not overly graphic, I was surprised at how gruesome it was in parts. It was great that they didn't water it down for a PG rating

Definitely the best of the sequels.

However:-
Does this mean that xtra-vision will no longer be stocking these HMV steelbooks - don't they have a partnership of sorts?
Do we know how limited this and other recent HMV steelbooks are?

We should see this steelbook be available in HMV and Xtra-vision stores in Ireland how many will depend on the amount of stock allocated to the Ireland Stores

Online its been 2-6 weeks and longer before previous announced HMV UK steelbooks appeared on the HMV Ireland Website
Xtra-vision and HMV Ireland websites is run by Hmv Ireland Online Limited

When these will appear on HMV Ireland Website is unknown yet they don't even have the standard DVD or 2D or 3D Blu-ray retail listings up yet on the website

Give it a few weeks and even if they don't appear on the website before release date they will most likely be available in the Ireland HMV-Xtra-vision Shops on release date as it a big blockbuster film and the print run wont be small

Just got back from the cinema, and I have to say it was great! Really enjoyed it, the 1st one is the best or course, but this one was better than the sequels!

The wife wanted to go back and watch it again straight away!!

I doubt that will happen but its not impossible
We really wont know until we start seeing actual in hand photos
We will really only find out if anything is different after release and we see if any differences with other releases from other countries
Unless they provide actual artwork to show its different before release at the moment is the same placeholder image with other release so far

I suspect it will be the same WWA steelbook worldwide with only differences been including a 2D and 3D discs or 2D only and Jcard and possible Film Arena or Asian releases and other retailers with exclusive extras but with the same steelbook

I saw this movie at the IMAX yesterday and thought it was very good! It brought back memories of the original and the 3D was also decent.

Definitely looking forward to the steelbook for this.

What I think would look incredible would be a grey crackle finish, to really give it a crumbling fossil like appearance.

Unfortunately crackle finishes are long gone it seems.
