I don't think that's true at all. This is hugely popular, you can tell that just from the response to this thread. No doubt this will be sold out very soon, in fact i'm pretty sure that a few people who ordered from Zavvi will be left disappointed.

No you wouldn't, as with most people who own it. You say it will sell out whilst posting a 'back in stock' link. Do you believe it was ever out of stock

The film isn't popular enough to merit a quick sell out, nor is the price justified imo. If it weren't for the debossing, I don't think many people would pay this any attention. It's got a lot to do with HDN and Play's connections (not a bad thing).

I mean this steelbook isn't exactly District 9 or The Raid isit? I guess we'll see in time..

I think the price is reasonable for a new release title. £14.99 for a steelbook is good value and only a pound more than the standard Amaray version. Only time will tell how much stock Zavvi have got but hopefully everybody who wants one can get hold of a copy.

imo this wont be around for long.
as with the raid, its a top quality steelbook of a decent film, it was at a good price, and lastly, its the final play.com steel (although now with zavvi, but that may mean more copies get damaged, which in turn would increas the value of mint copies)

i reckon in a year or 2, this will be quite valuable, more so than the majority of uk steels (although not in the region of star trek, iron man,captain america) but certainly around the £40 mark.

not that it matters. i mean, this hobby should be about nice steels, of good films.
not cash value.

Well said, damo. I think sometimes people get caught up too much in the potential value rather than just enjoying the item. I know a lot of people do collect for the purpose of upping the value for an eventual sale, but it'd be nice if we could just appreciate a steel for what it is sometimes.

Can't stand the people who price hike myself. They tend not to sell anything anyway, and never put their stuff on eBay, but then, try and use shill bidders as their price guide

They're just as bad IMO you know whether you're doing it or not. I only put mine to auction, or trading internationally is another way to go. That's why i've never had a trade thread

Well Play.com sold out whatever allocation they had so it was not available to order therefore out of stock.

Battle Royale and Oldboy look pretty sold out to me as does this on Play.com. I'm sure Zavvi will be out of stock very soon too.
