Today I officially announced the pre-order date & time for 2nd round

London (United Kingdom - England) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 13:00:00 BST UTC+1 hour
Seoul (South Korea) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 21:00:00 KST UTC+9 hours
Vancouver (Canada - British Columbia) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 05:00:00 PDT UTC-7 hours
New York (U.S.A. - New York) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 08:00:00 EDT UTC-4 hours
Paris (France) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 14:00:00 CEST UTC+2 hours
Corresponding UTC (GMT) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 12:00:00

-1x copy per slipcover (2x copies for slipcover was sold out too fast like 7 min, That's why kimchi put more restriction for quarter slip release)
-5x copies per lenticular

here is technical problem solved so far

after you pay via paypal, you will automatically return to main page of kimchidvd and you can go to order page to check if your order is completed.

(previous kimchi, does not provide automatic payment completed by paypal, only kimchi handle one by one to complete order by manually matched with paypal transaction. it's kind of big burden and many problem happened)

and another announcement for shipping

Small packet is removed, K-packet applied for all of item sold in kimchidvd
K-packet is slightly expensive than small packet but there is lots of benefits

- Printed slip with tracking number
- End-to-End tracking with delivery confirmation (No lost shipment)
- Reasonable cost than EMS
- generally takes 5-15 days (EMS: 5-10 days, Small packet 15 -35 days)

but some member are curious why kimchidvd changed shipping method

From T2 kimchi release, Kimchi handled more than 1,000 box to ship out to post office KR, this is a big volume of post office KR to handle only for one store.

so post office does not allow kimchi to accept small packet any more :(
and asked kimchi to change K-packet rather than small packet due to too many package in one or two day.

after changed of k-packet, pack & shipping process is much more faster than small packet and very reliable shipping method in terms of tracking.

even now, some of member did not received T2 kimchi after shipping process done at 26th June because no tracking available for small packet.

1 or 2 steelbook for shipping charge between small packet & k-packet is only difference around 2$

please kindly understand kr post office policy for massive volume of shipment like over 1,000 boxes and more powerful tracking for lost shipment protection.

Thanks

But don't they give you a chance to pay again? :ohno:. Because I think even I had a similar experience with one of my orders today. I would love to pay and hate for my order to get cancelled :(

Can someone help....... Choi?

This happened to me the last time i ordered from K2 and they sent me a mail asking me to pay if i wanted to keep my order. If i were you i would send a mail to tony explaining that you want to pay and keep the order...

I'm really confused about the situation of my order.

Turns out, with my multiple attempts to order (because I thought it didn't work) using my VISA card, I apparently ordered three times :

The orders are "placed", therefore it's all good, I'll receive my copy, right?

I'll obviously cancel the latest two orders. So just to be clear, even though I tried to google translate my way through the Korean text :

I'm supposed to click on the left button, right?

I'm sure I tried every combo...but oh well.

Killian, to prepare for the next round, make sure your URL has /en/ within to see the site in English. And as some has said (thanks tufferik for reminding me of my cryptic response in trying to help), please be sure to have an account so you can log in and add your item to the cart.

1. Use the Chrome browser where possible and have it set to always auto-translate Korean to English.

2. Use this URL to register if you have not done so already - http://kimchidvd.com/en/member/member_register_form.jsp - and make sure to fill in Addr2 line as well with your state name.

3. After you are logged in successfully or if you are already, try this link for GI Joe - http://kimchidvd.com/en/good/goods.jsp?good_seq=19276 - do you see the Add To Cart button? If you do, click it and if you are logged in, a dialog box will show up and say in English "Cart Add Success." If you are not logged in, it will say, "Need Login."

From step 3, if you see Cart Add Success, you are ready to go for the next time this comes back for sale.

Just to clarify a few things:

1) 250 copies out of the 500 copies of the quarter slip version and 500 copies out of the 1500 copies for the lenticular version were offered for pre-order tonight at the promotional price of $41.99.
2) the remaining 250 copies of the quarter slip version and the remaining 1000 copies of the lenticular version will be offered for pre-order in the next 72h at the full price of $44.99.
3) the lenticular version does not come with a quarter slip but with a full lenticular slip.

Hope that helps :)

P.S: and yes I will show pictures of the final product a few days before they start shipping them, so please be patient ;)

P.P.S: Kimchi Exclusive #3 should be announced in the next weeks as well ;)

Bunk, best way is to email Tony ([email protected]) and ask him to cancel the orders for you. List the order numbers in your email and he will gladly help you. Good luck!

Dont know what button you should press as i have never gotten the site in korean

There are 2 versions of the kimchidvd website, one of which is in Korean.

The English one is kimchidvd.com/en/

The Korean one is kimchidvd/kr/

I suspect that some people's browsers are redirecting them to the Korean version of the site for certain pages. If that's the case, you would need to clear your browser's cache and make sure that the /en/ suffix appears for every page loaded. Otherwise you'll get all the text in Korean! (and possibly lose your order details).

Just to try to understand things a little better:

I used paypal and got: Receipt of order.

Is this the order status everyone has?

What is the order status for those who ordered by credit card?
