New York (U.S.A. - New York) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 08:00:00 EDT UTC-4 hours

Corresponding UTC (GMT) Tuesday, 16 July 2013, 12:00:00

-1x copy per slipcover (2x copies for slipcover was sold out too fast like 7 min, That's why kimchi put more restriction for quarter slip release)
-5x copies per lenticular

here is technical problem solved so far

after you pay via paypal, you will automatically return to main page of kimchidvd and you can go to order page to check if your order is completed.

(previous kimchi, does not provide automatic payment completed by paypal, only kimchi handle one by one to complete order by manually matched with paypal transaction. it's kind of big burden and many problem happened)

and another announcement for shipping

Small packet is removed, K-packet applied for all of item sold in kimchidvd
K-packet is slightly expensive than small packet but there is lots of benefits

- Printed slip with tracking number
- End-to-End tracking with delivery confirmation (No lost shipment)
- Reasonable cost than EMS
- generally takes 5-15 days (EMS: 5-10 days, Small packet 15 -35 days)

but some member are curious why kimchidvd changed shipping method

From T2 kimchi release, Kimchi handled more than 1,000 box to ship out to post office KR, this is a big volume of post office KR to handle only for one store.

so post office does not allow kimchi to accept small packet any more :(
and asked kimchi to change K-packet rather than small packet due to too many package in one or two day.

after changed of k-packet, pack & shipping process is much more faster than small packet and very reliable shipping method in terms of tracking.

even now, some of member did not received T2 kimchi after shipping process done at 26th June because no tracking available for small packet.

1 or 2 steelbook for shipping charge between small packet & k-packet is only difference around 2$

please kindly understand kr post office policy for massive volume of shipment like over 1,000 boxes and more powerful tracking for lost shipment protection.

Thanks

Can we have some clarification on what is meant by combined shipping is not allowed? Does that mean we must repeat a separate order for each single copy?

I think it means that you can't order 2 then another 2 then another 2 and ask for the shipping to be combined later. Because why then would it say 'Over 3 copies (including .... slip)' EMS only?

* Price Promotion (USD41.99 : 3days 500pcs))- Limited Qty 5copies per order
* Over the 3 copies(Including Quater slip) : EMS only
* Conbine Shipping is not allowed

What does this mean??

The lenticular edition limited to 1500, is limited to 5 copies per order, but it has to be separate orders because you can not combine shipping...? But you can choose shipping method?

The quarter slip limited to 500, is limited to 3 per order, but it has to be separate orders because you can not combine shipping...? And you have to choose EMS shipping method?

Can anyone clarify if I have understood this correctly as I must confess I am a little confused about the rules here... And the time is running out quickly...

EMS + Quarter slip price will be quite pricey...

---------- Post added at 01:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:48 PM ----------

OK... The quarter slip is limited to 2 per order.
The lenticular is limited to 5.
If you order more than 3 you have to choose EMS...
I think??

---------- Post added at 01:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:51 PM ----------

So... if I order 2 of each, in 2 separate orders, (total 4) I can choose small packet shipping method.

Yes, but by doing that you are paying $8.99 shipping for both orders with a total shipping of $17.98, or you order them all in one and choose ems and it costs $21.99 and you get it about a week earlier. However by ordering them in 2 orders you run a higher risk or customs charfes as 2 packages are coming through, but then again of you order them all in one go and choose ems then the nice people at customs might doubt that an item of that size is really worth around $20 (assuming that is what you declare it as)...

It's your choice at the end of the day mate, just remember if you don't already know that Kimchi charge at order, so 4x $41.99 will cost$ 167.96... ;)

Hope that helps

Then that would mean you could order 5, then another 5, then another 5 so long as each order was separate?

Technically yes, but Tony would probabley see that coming and cancel them...

Lenticular slip for me, but nearer the release date if there are any cancellations of the quarter slip i might bother to order one :p

What Happy said above but I'd still love to get concrete confirmation before this goes live. However, it is still very early morning in Korea so Choi will probably update us in an hour or so.

I think to be 100% safe i will order 2 lenticular with Ems in one order, then 2 quarter slip with Ems in another order. This can not fail...

Huh? Why would you pay twice the EMS shipping price? And risk customs twice?

Why not just order them all as one shipment and save yourself some money?

No real need to bother with EMS shipping anyway, we saw with the T2 release that people who chose standard shipping were getting it about 2 days later.

Yes there is tracking but the chances of it going missing are pretty remote, and for the money you're not wasting on EMS over several years on multiple orders, you can afford to have plenty go missing and still be in credit.

so from the way it looks since they charge you right away for the order even though its 2 months away,we're basically funding them to be able to produce the steels...very clever.
