Very bad news for the Director's cut and this steelbook isn't very beautiful.
With Zavvi usually it's all or nothing. :(
Disc content is from Warner not Zavvi
This is Warner Home Video release
Zavvi only have this as an exclusive for the UK as they are only a retailer
The same steelbook is been released in other countries with other retailers

There was never a directors cut released for Blu ray that was always the Additional Scenes in HD as an extra on the Blu ray

there is no getting away from it, i have the directors cut on dvd, which includes the extra footage,
when you just buy lethal weapon without it saying directors cut you dont get those extra scenes,
so in my opinion this is false advertising, zavvi should remove directors cut because it isnt,,

After reading this thread I bought the box set instead.

I'm pleased I did too, at £8.99 it was a bargain. It's £44.99 now.

Just received an email from Zavvi with an attached Collect+ returns label so at least they are accepting the return without any problems although they do not address the actual issue in their email. Be interesting to see how many get sent back as I can see this title dropping in price pretty soon to clear them out. Either way I'll just stick with the box set

Received my returns label this morning from Zavvi as well. Total garbage to advertise it as Director's Cut when it blatantly is not. They're gonna get more than a few returns!

This release is absolutely disabolical! A pointless release on its own (without the other three films), and one of the worst designs I have ever seen for a SteelBook! A lazy effort and just makes a mockery of why we collect SteelBooks in the first place! So they debossed the title, whoop-de-do! If they are going to make a SteelBook release for a film, the least they could do is make more of an effort with the artwork! This design looks like a placeholder image! Shocking!

Going to return mine as it is not the directors cut, and it has been falsely advertised. I was going to keep it, but because i'm annoyed with the GOTG situation, and there underhand selling tactics they can have it back.
