I wonder why yesasia and k2 are calling it a steel case? I know it's just another way of saying steelbook, but they usually list steelbooks as steelbooks, I think.

I always thought Yes Asia only debited your account when they were about to ship your item. I have had the money taken from my account already, and I never used Paypal either.

I just looked at my account and it looks like it was a hold on your account Blu-devil. I see no charges on my CC, so it probably is just a hold on your account.

I agree - I believe it's just a hold on your funds to verify that you have enough money in the account. The charge should clear and the funds should be returned in a few days.

A full charge amount has shown up on my credit card, but it was made because the expiration date on my card changed.

Thinking of buying Lion King.
Which site is import friendly to UK? I know yesasia is anymore??

Anyone?

Thanks

K2Dvd do ship to the uk, I used them recently and the steelbook came in a box with plenty of bubble wrap, couldn't recommend them more highly.

Cheers Ross

This is currently out of stock on K2. It's still available for pre-order on yesasia though. I also recommend buying from yesasia. They provide free worldwide shipping, and if you ask them to ship in a box with bubble wrap, they will.

When you ordered from k2dvd was there any import taxes to pay when the item arrived to UK?

I know the UK threshold is currently £18 until November when it drops to £15

Thanks

Geez, it's dropping to £15 - that's just rubbish.

I've ordered from K2 DVD and as I recall they actually ask you when you're checking out if you want it sent as a gift (there are a couple of other options to but I can't remember those, sorry!) so very customs friendly :oohyeah:

Thanks for the info mate.

I emailed K2DVD and they confirmed they don't do free shipping to UK which means you are taking a risk with customs. However if there is a gift option which I haven't checked that option will do fine for me.

Oh yea! The info re the November import of £15 is correct not rubbish. Check the customs website.

K2DVD limited stock back in for Pre-orders!

Oh, I did believe you about the new import level - when I said rubbish I meant it was bad news not that it was nonsense :D Sorry for the confusion :emb:
