Ordered. I guess I kinda liked Disney's Sleeping Beauty but I dunno if Jolie can pull off the Queen of Disney Villains or not. Hmm, I'll see more ahead of the release.

I would hesitate on combining this with the 15% Disney discount unless you are 100% sure you won't cancel. It seems that you won't be able to cancel the preorder after your discounted Disney steel ships.

I can only assume people who like the White background haven't seen Engelskind's PERFECT fan art mock-up. So here it is again:

In my opinion, this is too amazing to not be the artwork and craps all over the boring artwork which has been listed.

I think fans being charged the premium £25 price deserve premium artwork, and for me Engelskind has nailed it and no other artwork should be considered!

EDIT: I seriously think we need to have a poll on this and feed the results back to Disney - it can't hurt to try, and surely everyone would prefer an amazing piece of artwork to a "white background with character" :dunno:

Seriously don't understand how people can be happy with a boring, plain white when THIS could be done just as easily...

Can't hurt to ask Zavvi, but it being Disney I fear I know the answer! This will likely be a worldwide release as usual by them.

The white in gloss will look good with that image and her pale skin, I will pass final judgement when I see the back. :D

I've suggested a poll a few times but it's been glazed over by the mods... I'm guessing because we (the paying customers) aren't allowed to question Disney ;) :hilarious:

You could ask Disney but they are very strict in regards to fan art creations
Takes ages to get approval and they usually only allow changes with already approved artwork they want used especially Disney UK or Disney USA

I think that Engelskind's artwork is too much for zavvi-standards ;) But this one isn't too visionary. Remember the "Oz the Great & Powerful"-steel from Blufans. I bet that another steelbook from asia is coming. BluFans or kimchi will do it :)

Films enjoyable family fantasy, 3D is superb. Nice front art, full gloss and its white! Definitely keeping my pre-order. One of the most stylish looking steels Zavvi have sold.

I quite like this, but would've preferred a black steel. I'll keep my pre-order for this, and hope that Blufans or Kimchi will step up and produce a black one. I wouldn't mind double dipping on this one. :D

I enjoyed the film enough to double dip if one of the Asian companies produce one with excellent art. Not bothered about slips if it's the same steel though :D

Even if a poll result was 100% in favour it won't matter if the artwork requested to be used is not already approved artwork

Disney only allow artwork that they have approved and is already registered and licensed approved artwork
They are very strict
The changes made for example with wreck it ralph was that that artwork was already Disney's licensed approved

Even Blufans frozen artwork is approved registered artwork it's not fan artwork

the price :hilarious:

I'll wait for another option that justifies that price, like maybe from Kimchi or Blufans or Plain or HDZeta.

Or maybe CAN/USA does a run, which would be guaranteed to be cheaper than this.
