I have disagree about this, some films just have to be seen at the cinema in my opinion. I would have hated seeing something like Tron Legacy or Gravity for the first time at home - watching these films in IMAX 3D just blew my socks off to be honest :scat:

Front Projectors are getting really inexpensive. $2000 for a decent 3D one and you can get a decent 10 foot 2.35 screen for around $1000.

Costs me £15 a month with Cineworld to see any film anytime including 3D/IMAX showings as often as I like. Been 3 times this week already lol!

Unfortunately card can't be used in London, which isn't a problem as I detest the place. It also means using only Cineworlds which is fine as they are the best chain by miles.

It's a great deal especially if you go more than twice a month :D

I won't live in an area that doesn't have one. Sod schools and amenities etc, What kind of cinema near me takes priority lol :hilarious: Before Cineworld opened we had an old UCI which was one of the first official THX cinema's in the UK, I'm spoiled here ........ I'm never moving lol!

I am also a cineworld card holder @£15 a month it's great as I go on average 4 times a week. You cannot watch IMAX for that though, it's about £5 upgrade which is extra even for unlimited card holders.

I also have a cineworld unlimited card. Best thing I ever bought!! I'm probably going to see this on Sunday as 3D is no extra cost to me and while the film has it's critics the general consensus is that this film looks absolutely breathtaking on the big screen.

I'll wait for a price drop on the steelbook for sure though.

:)

I'll bet you £24.99 that there won't be a price drop on this! Not with less than 600 left ;)

i just pre ordered, better safe than sorry, but i know we will see this movie with a steelbook treatment all over the world, hopefully this time around they are not generic....

4000 steels pre ordered I wonder from those who pre ordered how many have actually seen the film?

I've yet to see it, but plan to this weekend. I wanted to pre-order beforehand because I knew it would be sold out before I actually watched the movie. I have a few months to decide if I'm going to keep it or cancel and go with another version. :D
