Just like the previous Mondo X steelbook Pet Sematary. Both are from Paramount. So if Paramount has any more Horror sequels coming to theatres then perhaps another Paramount Mondo X steelbook will follow

Apparently there is a new WWA 4K steelbook coming for "Top Gun" around the release of the sequel hitting theatres.
It's from Paramount and Cine-Museum has announced they are using it for their Cine-Museum Art series.

Cine-Museum also used the "Pet Sematary" Mondo X steelbook for their Cine-Museum Art series.
Although "Top Gun" isn't a horror film I wonder if this could be a Mondo X steelbook as well since both the "Pet Sematary" and
"A Quiet Place" Mondo steelbooks are basically WWA releases available in more countries than previous Mondo releases.

No evidence. Just perception.

However the only true evidence I had was that a convo with me and Scanavo was simply that the option is there for studios should they want to pursue. I just dont think they are going to pitch it much to be honest. When doing these a 3rd party gets paid which makes the price higher then doing the norm, and now that they are pretty much doing their own thing ToC in which that is Scanavo and WB in partnership to which maybe one day more studios get added. Never the less, their is more incentive if they pitch ToC vs. say Mondo X ... but given that its only happening over in EU, despite some of the art showing up at BB USA steels, I think there is still opportunity for Mondo X should a product buyer, studio dept, or retailer request such.

I hope more come about, but I wouldnt be shocked if they dont.

USA (NA) made most sense for them as the cost is spread out across a larger print run. Be nice for a 4th quarter wave or something.

thats bad.. mondo x‘s strong point were obviously the artworks and sorry, but ToC kinda sucks in this department... in my perception its rather a poor man‘s mondo than a proper replacement

Not sure on the dates, a couple look to be off, but the graph conveys the general idea that they started off strong and had a wave in the end of 2018/beginning of 2019 and are in another lull/most likely done phase now. Quiet place is in the longest stretch by itself compared to any other time. Hope I'm wrong though, don't really care to start collecting vinyls.

My perception might be wrong but i think ToC is gonna be short-lived if they keep putting out these minimalistic artworks. I really dont see the appeal of their releases so far. Mondo X on the other hand were, for the most part, perfect releases

they sell out pretty fast most of the time tho, while many mondo releases stay in stock for quite a while and only sell out after significant price reductions... just from a sellers point of view.. totally agree with you that the mondo line is million times better than ToC

Yeah i can understand that. I dont really follow ToC releases so i had no idea they were selling out so fast and i really dont understand why people are rushing to buy these...

If anyone knows the actual number of units sold of those ToC releases versus Mondos then that might give a clue. It could be something as simple as selling less ToC units than Mondo units to the same amount of demand.
