on amazon.fr some say boitier metale but others dont say much other than 'limited'. the pictures suggest that they are steelbooks but how can i be sure? for example the expendables french edition..how can i be certain they will send me a steelbook not a normal bluray case?? the only reason im worried is because its happend to me before with the dvd definitive editions. Hope you guys can help!?

Joke-unfortunately it is too early to know 100% whether this will be a Steelbook(TM) or not,but you can stay tuned to this thread. As far as other Steelbooks from France already released a while ago, Amazon.fr ships Amarays or Steels, with no way to know in advance, and they can't tell you in advance. Some are out of print by now. Sending them back can be very expensive and they won't reimburse you if you tell them ("the picture showed a Steelbook"). Even if a Steel is pictured you may receive an Amaray plastic case. You can try member bidou or mams to see if they're able to assist you, so you're sure you get a Steelbook (if they can still get them). Good luck!

So, FYI, since this has been posted in another thread - we have a confirmation from our steelbook sources in Europe that the Matrix edition listed here is NOT a steelbook.

I'll keep this thread open for a bit so people can comment - thread title updated as well.

That stinks...despite the inferiority of the Matrix sequels (IMO), I hope SOMEONE does separate Steels down the road. I love the concept of the flicks, but am sorry to hear this is not what we thought it would be

Its out of stock on amazon......And Fnac has changed the release date to 10th of October (same as with BB/TDK).....Anyone has any more info on this?

I had this on preorder for a while, I went to my account and its still there... and no nasty email from amazon cancelling.... we have to wait and see, if it gets here i will post some pics..it looks really nice, i want to see inside..
