I've already pre-ordered this. It looks absolutely beautiful. And I'm getting the poster framed for my wall. Again, the artwork is very very wow.
It is region free right? i'll be hugely pissed if it isn't region free.

Lovely film - usually only go for steels but the quality of the Kimchi items has made me excited over other quality releases from that part of the world.
I'm sure that, if and when it gets a steel, I'll double dip (which I never do, unless it's dvd steel & buray steel).

Have you heard about it getting a steel at all? Would sort of make sense given the way the Wrestler got all sorts of different treatment (full slip/steel, 1/4 slip steel and full slip/keep case).

If you could somehow transfer those holographic effects on the moon (as shown in the sample video), with the addition of the blue foil treatment for the text to a SB, you would surely have by far the best steelbook of all time. :ohno:

This will be my first Lars Von Trier film. I'm pretty excited to get it considering I've never seen any of his movies and because Plain Archive releases kick ass

Excited ;-) Lars's movies are not really exciting so to speak, Melancholia is overall depressing as where the intention is to see and feel how life could be for a "depressed" person. His other movies aren't that "exciting" as well, but they are gems in their own genre.

Just to consider ;-)

Thanks for the heads up ;)

Maybe the subject matter isn't exciting but I'm excited to see one of his films for the first time and because the packaging looks top notch.

Has there been any talk about PA doing Antichrist and Nymphomaniac as well? I know they have their hands full with their next couple of planned releases.

Not as far as we know, I think their confirmed projects are:

The King of Pigs - (Which is up for pre-order in June)
Zero Dark Thirty - (According to their twitter they have said that they will be releasing images of the artwork for this sometime this month, but that may change)
I Saw the Devil
Blue is the Warmest Colour
The Master

Personally I can't wait for the Melancholia package to ship, this looks like its going to be one of my favourite releases of the year!
