Very likely, as I received my Fighter from them dented too.
The replacement or refund process is very frustrating and slow response from them.

You only get an email confirmation of your order, no confirmation of despatched or something. You can't even see what you ordered.... !!! No order history, I believe you can't even modify your details, you can't see it unless you put an order to confirm where to ship to........ for cancelation you need to send an email (or phone....) which I did, got an answer after a few days telling me it was already shipped...........

wow, that's scary. lucky for me, my Memento arrived just fine from inetvideo, they even gave me free pen but it shipped to my friend in US, and he came home for holiday

This is true, however, I have ordered several steelbooks from them, and not one has come dented. I guess it all depends on how far the package has to travel.

Are you purchasing as a guest or from your account Cyan? I just purchased Hot Fuzz from them through my account, and I did get a shipment confirmation. About two weeks before, I purchased Memento as a guest and did not get a shipment confirmation. I believe you are right about not being able to view an order history. I logged into my account and can't find my order history. I'm sorry to hear they could not cancel your order in time.

oo I didn't mind it wasn't canceled ..... I wanted to cancel since there were so many bad feedbacks, but then the Memento I ordered came in mint!!! I was expecting the worst when it arrived only in a lousy bubble envelope........ luckily it looks mint... I still haven't opened it yet

hey guys, just an FYI....limited copies can be found in Future Shop starting last night...most likely some of the returns, because some of them have small dents or cut in the spine...but if you are not fussy...now is the time to get them...$21.99 + tax...
saw some Sin City, Kill Bills etc too...cheers!

so far I checked 2 stores with about 4 to 6 copies...but most have the usual cut spine or pin dents at bottom or top...at worst is bad dents and scratch at the front! but if there are people who missed out and doesn't mind the slight defects...NOW is the time to buy, folks! folks in Canada, if yuoa re not planning to buy any for yourself...help some newer Ninjas...

I've seen some in my local store and I've got to say that they had a lot of missing paint on them... cheap but worthless IMO.

The ones I found were actually in very good condition.
One has a tiny spec paint chip at the bottom, but thats it. Barely noticeable.

This was one of the first steels I picked up, and it is still one of my favourites. The movie was awesome too, cannot believe Mr Nolan was 27 when he made this movie.
