I wanted to share my experience, A few weeks back i received my TDKR white steelbook (Non Nova Exclusive) from them.
Really excited for this release, I opened it to find a nasty scratch on the top left hand corner, contacted Nova as ideally i wanted a repalcment as im an OCD collector.

Came back really quickly saying they could replace the case on my next order, i asked could this be shipped asap (No outstanding orders) and I would contribute towards the shipping cost ($6 = 50%)
Didn't hear back for a few days so I chased it and then got a $6 refund out of the blue followed by an email saying there replacement cases were all damaged so they couldn't replace this, I hadn't requested a refund. I then said they still have this listed as available on there website so why cant they replace this?
I then suggested returning for a full refund at there cost, they were not prepared to accept the return postage so I raised a Paypal case and settled for a $11 credit.
They have told me everyone else who had issues accepted a $6 credit and that i have now been Blacklisted from there website.

Dealing with Asian suppliers for years doesn't go without issues, most agree to replace the case with a photograph of the damage, they often don't request the return of the damaged steelbook due to the return postage cost.

So a negative experience for me with Nova!!

They actually said you were blacklisted? That's extremely harsh.

ok i just wrote the 13th (!!!!) e-mail to novamedia regarding a partial refund ($5) because of a small damage on a lenticular, and these guys can still not work it out. they fail in sending a refund of $5 via paypal. it's not that much money, but i won't give it a rest until they learn how to do something properly and correct.
however until now, they have no clue how to do professtional business. and their customer service representative writes the most unfriendly e-mails i have ever received from a CS.
their lack of professionalism is incredible. and that makes me really angry.

i had a similar experience with my "Guardians" lenticulars. first they tell me i can have a replacement cover sent, then when i accepted that, they tell me all replacements are damaged and i can have a $5 credit instead, i tell them actually both have a scratch (pics already sent), they tell me everybody else accepted the $5 refund, so i will have to accept too, or return the steelbooks at my own cost. then i accept the $5 credit and want it refunded to my paypal - but they give me 5 store points instead (despite i told them before that i will not order from them anymore in the near future). then i write them again, saying i want that refund made to my paypal, and first time i have to consider to file a claim via paypal. then they write back that the credit has already been given to my account (again, i didn't ask for credit points, but for a paypal refund). and now the best: they tell me in the meanwhile they found some new lenticular covers (they told me last week that everything was damaged), but as i have the store points already, the issue is solved for their side.
worst experience ever.

another bad experience with my "drive" order: they forgot to send me 1 extra lenti i ordered, so after several efforts to finally prove that i am not lying, they promised to send it with my next order. but of course, they forgot again, so it took another 4 e-mails to have the missing drive lenti shipped to me without any additional costs.

but after 20 times back and forth, still no blacklisting. i think they start to like the arguing. b@st@rds!

I received a damaged Drive FS. I asked for a replacement and they offered an empty steel which seemed ok. They sent me the pink slip. Told them the error and sent photos of the damage. They sent me another pink slip. Got told to send it back for a refund. The shipping to Korea is £12.45 so I asked if they could send replacement, offer me another title or do they refund the postage on damaged product. Got a reply which I think say's they will refund postage but they don't want to sell me anything else. Shame like there product but I won't lose any sleep over it. Lets see if I get a full refund.

has anyone of you guys ever had to deal with nova's customer "service"? i'm just asking because i'm in a never-ending back and forth with a guy from novamedia, which is really worse than zavvi (actually worse than any other experience i've had the last year).

I have dealt with there customer service if you click the contact us button at the bottom of every page it will take you to an area where you will get a response from customer service. I have found that if you go under My Account and then Look up the order you have an issue with highlight the order # and just cut and past that number at the start of your message. They have cancelled an order for me before it shipped and was under processing. They also gave me a decent refund for a disc that had a bad spine. Guess I got lucky they canceled that order for me the next day.

Received refund for damaged Drive + half the shipping costs. Also had confirmation i'm no longer a welcome customer. W.....s !

I received The Fall blu ray and the booklet inside had two wrinkled pages so I sent pics and received a replacement with my GOTG steelbook. Unfortunately the same two pages were wrinkled which leads me to believe it was a manufacturing error so I didn't bother contacting them again for another replacement.

Anyone else having trouble accessing Nova's site lately? My antivirus software keeps detecting "malware" and won't allow me to visit the site.

I had my anti malware twice tell me not to enter that site. It has been lately but not everytime. There site doesn't work well for me. I can't even see the full list of there SB's unless I search a random title.

Glad it's not just me then... although it happens to me every single time I try to visit the site. I even tried adding the url to my safe list, and yet it still won't let me access the site because the virus it's detecting is that bad apparently.

I messaged Nova about the problem and they sent me this link assuring me that their site is fine. Doesn't really solve the problem though as I'm still getting the malware warning. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to buy my stuff elsewhere.

Unprofessional is definitely a word that springs to mind when I think of Nova... they always seem to be having issues with their site and I've never once actually been able to order anything from them because of it.
