"No Alien Steelbook for October. We've been asking for this one all year long. Part of the challenge is it is a big boxset so it would make sense to see these released as singles as and right now they have no interest in releasing these as singles as it's all about the boxset. Also, Fox does not do exclusives for the most part whcih is challening onto itself. That being said, we are actively working with them to do the singles but it won't be until next year and even then there are so many obstacles I can't say it's more than a 20% chance right now. I'll keep you guys updated

"Fox now has a bigger picture of the 26th for the October planned "Egg Edition" of the "Alien Anthology" was published. This special edition Blu-ray discs with six and four DVDs is very strictly limited. Exactly how much will be the contact for each country is unknown. She seems to be larger in Germany than the demand in any case: If the illuminated amazon.de "egg was" edition shortly after the pre-orders were made possible last night officially sold out.

Currently, it remains unclear whether there will be an additional quota for amazon. With other brands, there may well still give copies and who wants to try his luck, can of course also on 26 October to get up very early to get in retail stores a copy.

When is the amazon.fr in France for 27.10. Egg-scheduled edition of "Alien Anthology" is still pre-order for 124.99 EUR. Whether the French version of a German audio track is included, is not known, as the German version of a French soundtrack has also, but quite possible.[/SPOILER}

i preordered mine at Foxconnect.com, because i wasnt a member, got a 10% discount which = $15 off the price.

i think i know what monsterbox he is talking about .Just when blu rays started to appear, Fox came out with the Alien collection and the Predator movies plus AvP. Best Buy had this neat box and in it was a Predator action figure and an Alien one too i believe. Price tag at that time was $149.99.
I was going to get it myself, but decided not too because it wasnt in Blu Ray.
I dont know what the Japanese version looked like i must confess, and again, this is when Blu was up against HD DvD lol.......

oh yeah, 2 weeks after i preordered then they announce you can get a free poster? sigh lol

It could be that some pre-orders are cancelling thus having left overs for first come first serve.

A slim glimmer of hope exists for separate Alien Steelbooks, pending the success of other Fox TV Season DVD Steelbooks. I am only posting because it was mentioned as a FAINT possibility,and I want to keep the thread as complete as possible. This is not an official announcement that they actually are coming
