- The steelbook illustration is by Krzysztof Domaradzki.
- The artwork for the slipbox was used previously for the Oldboy vinyl LP. It was co-ordinated by Nicolas Winding Refn, the director of Drive, and illustrated by Laurent Durieux. The director of Oldboy Park Chan-wook wanted one of our editions to feature this artwork so we reached out to Milan Records and illustrator Laurent Durieux. You'll be able to see more of the artwork since parts of the top and bottom were cropped out for the vinyl LP.

Exactly what it says on the tin. I got mine from this seller and it didn't come with the Plain Archive sticker. Not sure why? But I'm not fussed about the stickers anyway so wasn't an issue for me. I can confirm it was brand new, genuine, mint condition and extremely well packaged with everything stated. Delivered in 3 days too.

Thanks for you reply.
I might be wrong but if i remember correctly i saw once on the plain FB page they were selling some "i saw the devil" steelbook without sticker at some korean con. Maybe some extra "not numbered" copies for replacement matters or for korean market only. Can somebody confirm this ?
Anorher guy on ebay mention "with plain sticker" so i suppose there must be a difference of some kind.

What a mess... This release is/was a total bullshit. stock...OOS...stock...OOS....stock....OOS....dissapeared....stock.....
Yup
OOS now only a gimmick to create panic so people rush to buy when back in stock.
I predicted long ago they would struggle to sell out.

Not just that, kimchidvd and manta work in the same way. They sell some copies domestically in shops. If the shops can't sell them or people request them and the shops are OK with sending them back then that happens. Therefore back in stock. They don't have any lying around in the back, or create more copies etc, it's all original stock. Are they meant to write, "OOS here, but you can purchase them from these retailers... instead" ?

the copies they sell domestically are supposed to be limited for the korean market. the copies reserved and stated as OOS for the international market should not be afftected.
Then again, why did all the oldboy types dissapeared from their website for months instead of showing OOS like all the other releases. Should i mention the Deluxe box and the survey the did on facebook to see how much people from outside Korea were interrested, to finally slap us in the face and limlit the sales to Korea ? as for my personal opinion they f*cked up big time at many steps and levels.

In terms of OOS, yes they are the only ones, since they only sell through their site and all stock is allocated from one place
Well in the case of Plain Archive they deleted the listing from their international website but was continuing to sell from their own internal Korean webstore. So technically they did a zavvi.

So which one are you looking for? Maybe another member can help you instead of giving out on PA because you were too late with ordering one ;)
