Blufans churning them out now, I don't see the backlash like there is against Zavvi. I can't help thinking Zavvi may release all of these new titles at some point for under £20 a pop, so it's a pass for me.

To each their own but there is no comparison to be made here.

Zavvi have announced nearly 20 steelbooks already since the new year (and there will be more), BluFans have announced what...six? If you take into account the release dates that's maybe seven over the whole year if we don't get any delays. That's hardly what I call "churning them out".

You might be right about Zavvi releasing some of these in the future but I'm pretty sure they won't have any of the exclusive booklets, slip cases or numbering that make these releases so special.

It's still only 1 a month. Faster than before, but still not chaos.. (like Kevin listing all these threads at once!) :D

My point was that Blufans were about releasing a really nice exclusive every few months, now they have increased the number of titles they are releasing. Soon they'll be no more exclusive than any other retailers' exclusives.

Would that not be the natural progression of any business?? Just like ES started out with a small run then increased slowly. This is good in IMO. Why all the negativity :( I think most of us are happy to have the opportunity to get this

'All the negativity'? I've expressed one opinion which was neither positive nor negative, more of an observation. Are we only allowed to express our opinions if they praise those concerned? Why is it Zavvi are bashed for making a 'natural progression' yet Blufans are praised?

I don't think anyone is bashing Zavvi. Just expressing dismay that releases are not spread apart. When you bunch releases together it affects some collectors ability to get them on release. Other than that, I think Zavvi is doing a good job.
