As a designer I also agree that A is artistically more exciting but obviously not everyone is appraising the cover choices from this perspective. Hopefully when the final art is revealed it will turn around a few that voted against it.

Fair enough. I wasn't sure what was meant. I totally thought they just cut it down. I had this in my head, but your right they just moved the Kaiju in a bit

Not a big deal, but choice A is not a re-positioned or cropped version of this poster art.

Look carefully at the relative height of Striker's shoulders or the angle of the Kaiju's head.

Choice A artwork obviously comes from the same scene, but it isn't just a "mangled" version of the poster.

Yeah im just salty A's wack artwork I most likely the decision. But its still weird that our votes are going to outweigh the home teams.

Also disappointed choice A won but I'm looking forward to this release as it will still be the best release yet for Pacific Rim.

We've still got the inside art to look forward to which will definitely be WEA as choice A was used for inside of all the other releases.

My hat goes off to blufans for even trying to get Warner Bros to approved that Crimson Typhoon artwork on their first collaboration and with this and Gravity already in the bag it just wet my appetite for future collaborations. :movie:

Not lost hope of seeing Crimson Typhoon on the front of a steelbook there's always the 3rd re-release from Germany to look forward to.

Agreed about the title. But GT why dont you try moviing the title to the bottom and seeing it looks. Maybe debossing could work if the title is lower.
