Yep the price is too high, so lets hope amazon uk will have a reasonable price for Pacific rim and also for Man of Steel.

P.S i have a feeling ES will release Man of Steel with a new artwork

Doubt it..... Man of Steel is Warner whilst ES are exclusively Paramount.

I'm betting ES's next release will be World War Z :naughty:

Yep. That's what I think too.

Judging by past experience Warner new steels end up being HMV exclusives. I hope Zavvi don't get MOS as there'll most likely be no 3D for over £20.

Saying that though I have pre ordered this steel on the hope the price drops. Keeping an eye on the stock levels too. I'll cancel it if it doesn't sell out before release and re-order it further down the line when the price drops. I love this film!

I think the big Warner titles have been available from all retailers recently. I can't see Warner giving Entertainment Store a limited run when they could just print tens of thousands of copies and make them available from all retailers. That said I guess it is possible for Entertainment Store to get an exclusive that includes a figurine like the Ultimate Collectors Edition in Germany. Even though they have released only Paramount titles so far, they are supposed to be releasing Natural Born Killers which is a Warner title, so you never know.

Good point about NBK. I was under the impression that for new titles they are strictly Paramount. I don't mind if they get MOS. Looking forward to their special packaging. I'd even love them to do Pacific Rim as I'm fairly sure it'll have 3D if they do.

Also, did Zavvi recently do a new Warner release?

Not seen the film - but feedback suggests it's well worth it......40 euro for a new release steelbook.........seriously??? not liking the recent trend on pricing from amazon and zavvi on some of the upcoming releases.
