If I had two copies I would get one signed. But, otherwise it kinda ruins it (especially if it is not placed correctly).
And a lot of the time, it may only have significance for the signee and add no value on resale (if that is what the signee was after). Example: althought super cool that Hubmuswell's Marvel's are signed by Stan Lee- it is well known that Stan Lee's autograph is worth next to nothing since he signs a million Billion pieces).
I guess if had to have one signed- I'd definitely go for the back.

I disagree. Stan charges a decent price. So its often pretty easy to move Stan Lee signed stuff (if its appealing) at a decent price above what you pay for it. Plus I think over the next few decades his stuff will rise in value. 1) Because sadly he wont be alive. And 2) his characters will last many generations and will likely outlive us all.

I was the first one to ever have him sign SteelBooks so that might attribute to making it easier to move stuff. :p

totally agree with Wreck. Stan has signed a billion items in his life but how many were steelbooks or cool screen printed posters? The same can be said about a lot of celebrities, on it's own a signature is only worth so much but find the right item to have that signature on and now you've created a grail.

Wow! Instant grail! Nice.:thumbs::D
(I agree that mileage may vary on signatures coupled with the item, etc.)
